  1. i recently paid 106.9 for v power and 104.9 for tesco 99
  2. i was made redundant last year. They cannot tell you, you're redundant just like that and certainly not over the phone. There should be a consultation period, how many othe people work in the same role as you? There would be a selection process and criteria observed, if the process is in any way flawed you got em by the cods. i would get some advice from CAB
  3. ...the size 12 Dunlops ...all those frightened sheep going for some extra horses are we emoe do zen map the cars on a dyno or on the road? if on the road you may aswell get JGM to do it as he comes to you
  4. i got D2's on mine back off the damping adjustment and the spring tension and gives a ride similar to std STI suspension got an odd squeaking noise from the rear now though
  5. ouch, sorry to hear that m8tey. hope you get use of your pinkies back soon
  6. the funny thing is buried in there somewhere are all the call centres for the Uk banks, etc
  7. au contrair mon pere' the Tornado was\is capable of supersonic flight This is def a hoax, sending a message to the RAF pah phooey. If that's the case the rozzers might as well go out on the tarmac at Gatwick, Heathrow or any other airport and nick all the pilots of the commercial jets that take off as they'll all be breaking the humble 70mph speed limit. Personally i think the lazy f s should find better things to do and go and catch some real criminals :-) or just go back to the station for a cuppa (oooohh, stereotyping now )
  8. yeah but would you wanna live there Lets face it, fuel prices, tax prices, looming recession, greedy government..................are killing all cars of this marque, the good news is i may pick up a 911 in a years time for mega cheap bucks
  9. yeah this was just a freak thing to happen, the chances are prob a million to one. not sure what the drop is for a LE but i know the muzzle velocity is over 2000 fps. I suppose a lot depends on the rifling too.
  10. totally agree, the LE can kill at 3 miles. There was a program i watched on sky, one of these true life programs. A guy in the USA bought a Lee Enfield and used to fire it on his range, the nearest main road was like 2 miles away or so. This woman is driving along one day with her windows open and suddenly according to witnesses she careers off the road. Anyway forensics check the car and then the body and there is an entry hole in the base of her neck and an exit hole other side of her face. turns out sheer chance that the guy fires a shot off from the rifle, the round travels across the lake and into the travelling car, thats unlucky
  11. what a result. Emailed Ian @ godspeed brakes and got me self a pair of grooved front discs for £175 inc postage. Nice one Ian
  12. bring back the old .303 lee enfield, quality sniping rifle. This whole situation is screwed up. If you went out to their country and did the things out there that they do to us here they'd f g hang you out to dry, so why are we any different. Give us all lee enfields we can all take pop shots then :-)
  13. if it sounds to good to be true that's because it often is
  14. if when driving through liverpool you see scouse riding a bike why shouldnt you knock him off............. might be your bike
  15. hmm, they're in the same category as hankook and stunner absolute f g poo.
  16. and benefits totalling £80000 pa. this country is f d if you ask me still with WW3 looming on the horizon we'll all be vapourised soon.
  17. god that takes me back, my first car was a Viva estate with a whiny gearbox, me dad only paid £50 for it
  18. filling with oil through the filler cap, the oil will drain to the sump through the oil galleys anyway. I pre fill the filter (not so it spills out all over you and the floor) and start the engine without revving (this is the most important part), allow to idle for at least a couple of minutes. If the warning light is on when the car has started and been running, shut down you could have a problem. The thing to remember is dont after just starting the vehicle, rev the nuts out of it to impress your mates with how loud your new drainpipe is at the back of the car or how noisey the dump valve is when the throttle cuts even when rebuilding engines you can get special lubricants that are used to lubricate bearings, etc and these protect the surfaces during initial startup. If you assemble using just engine oil then the best of british too you
  19. saw that program, he really does give us scooby owners a bad name. One rotten apple spoils the whole bunch. apparently he didnt have long for filming he had to fit it in amongst all his crack and smack deals init? f g annoys me. I paid good money for my scoob and chavs like that buy an older model then act like king of the road giving everyone a bad name. Why didnt they pick some little scroat in a Peugot 206 or Citreon Saxo or the like
  20. nice one with the AP 4 pots, bit of a result. The fact that the exhaust has been changed wouldnt bother be the pipe on there still looks good and prob sounds pukka too
  21. wonder how much he can do a new screen for on my 54 plate Blobeye newage scooby
  22. AFAIK UK300's didnt necessarily have the pro drive pack fitted. The wheels and interior fitted were the 300 pack. someone's also fitted an STI bonnet scoop to by the look of it. There's something about the front bumper too
  23. wow, and i thought my blob eye was high with 60000 miles on the clock
