About scooby-22

  1. Excellent results mate! That is some achievement out of a turbo that is maxed out at 340/350!!! The proof is on the pudding.
  2. Forge all the way! No leaks, quicker spool and sounds the nuts!
  3. Hey bud, I have a classic with the rust around the rear wheel arches! I took it to a body shop and I had the rust cut out, sprayed, the whole front end resprayed with the rest of the car polished up to match and it cost me £600 so I don't think your price is too bad. All I will say is make sure they do a good job because I have sent mine back because the rust came back on one of the rear arches, not because they did a bad job but because they had disturbed that area and it came up next to where they had done. Hope this helps Cheers Marc
  4. I will be able to make this one looking forward to a catch up, its been a long 8 months
  5. I will prob be there early because i will finish work in the afternoon and have nothing to do. I will apologise in advance but i won't have time to clean the beast so excuse the dirt.
  6. Im good mate thanks, done nothing but work, havent spent any time on the scoob really. We just need to make sure everyone turns up (is everyone listening?) Howe things with you Ed? Car running ok?

  9. Only 1 impreza??? poor. I used to go to this when i was at arborfield (Nr Reading) and there used to be loads of scoobs. Im back down there for a month starting the 17th so i will come I might even make the one in september aswell. Cheers Marc
  10. You can do what ever you want on a car and it wont hurt, on the other hand when ur playing with house electrics, 240v bloody well hurts
  11. If you can get your hands on a fluke multimeter then that would be great, check the output of the alternator, it should be about 14 volts give or take. If the alternator is good then i would take a voltage reading of the battery then disconnect the tracker for a day or two and see if there is any difference. If its not the tracker then i would systematically go through and check like i said earlier. Good luck Marc
  12. Unless there is an actual known fault with your model i cant see it being the car. Have you fitted anything like a stereo, gauges, turbo timer etc.. I think one way to fault find is to connect a bulb in series between the neg terminal and the neg on the battery. If there is a current draw the light will be illuminated. One by one remove the fuses to the different circuits and when the light goes out your fault (current draw) is in that circuit. Hope this helps Cheers marc
  13. HKS SSQV baby, sounds the nuts and doesn't leak. Buy cheap........ buy twice
  14. Great idea paul but i will be away in Afghan, im gutted There are millions of scoobs around here, not many p1's and defo no 22b's (that i know of) but enough to get together and put on a good show. Good luck Paul, hope it goes ahead Cheers Marc
