  1. Hi guys I've previously been an active SIDC member but been away for a while. I'm now on the hunt for another and how come across a silver sti v4 s945vpv, does anyone recognise this as there's an SIDC tax disc holder? Thanks guys
  2. Hi all, I've been away from the scene since letting my last wrx go last year but I miss the drive and I'm on the hunt for another. Does anyone recognise this reg S945 VPV? It's a silver v4 sti classic. Considering swapping my current car for the above and noticed an SIDC tax disc holder and wandered if anyone knew of the car? Thanks in advance Michael
  3. as above sounds like front main seal, replaced this on my old classic turbo, only cost couple quid but i replaced the timing belt and pulleys at the same time. Mick

  7. im in need of a spare key for my bugeye but have been quoted 200quid + vat for a key and 30quid + vat for fob. does anyone know of an alternative solution other than having to use main dealer? thanks Mick
  8. as above the uk bug (wrx) has td04 turbo even if its PPP'd and is usually referred to as a version 7 Mick
  9. went to see JGM lastnight, had the memory read and it was the neutral gear position sensor so when i get chance i will fit a thinner washer and see how it goes. cheers simon and iain!

  12. ive had this the other day on my 2001 wrx. mines been mapped and has forge VTA which was leaking and im thinking this was the cause of the engine light on but havent had chance to get FM read! ive sorted the forge out and the light hasnt flashed again since. let me know if you find anything Mick

    does anybody know of an emissions friendly MOT station in the medway area? Mick
  14. most would change the pulleys for peace of mind but if you don't want to fork out for them just ensure there's no play or noise when they spin. also the flat spot could be a number of things from faulty MAF to coils. Just replaced my MAF on our 51plate WRX due to flat spot/kangarooing not to mention the fact it was running very lean. Mick
