Hi guys need some help with recomendations. I need new front and rear brake pads for my wr1 but don`t know if its best to stick with brembo or change. I was looking at performance friction but don`t know if they are any good, but if anyone can recomend anything it would be greatly appreciated.

The guy made the mistake and told me he couldn`t get it sold due to the white wheels and caus of the mileage it had 46000 on the clock when i picked it up. I am thinking of getting a set of prodrives for the winter as the white wheels are murder to keep clean, i have to clean them most days.

Seen the pics you posted it looks mint, made me wonder if i picked the right 1 i was looking at a bug eye ra bfore i got the wr1.

It took me 2 weeks to get it this clean and to here you guys give me positive feed back makes me glad i joined the club thank you 2 all

No i didn`t get the pff7`s, i got the car cheap caus nobody wanted it without the pff7`s got it for 10,600.

Thank you for the coments nice to here what others think. Got the car cheep becaus it didn`t have the prodrive alloys i was goin to change them but i think am goin to stick with them they make the car stand out in the crowd.

I have finally got the time and weather to take some pictures of my WR1 what do you guys think of it?

This is my type ra that i gave to my girlfriend, I now have a wr1 and because it has a loud dump valve and the ra has a body kit i keep getting told i am a chav. I don`t think of myself as a chav but if driving a wr1 makes me a chav then i am mr CHAV.

In my opinion i think it would help new members if you see a strange car at meet a meet and a lost sheep get out like maself gets out it would b nice if someone walked over and greeted them, I know it sounds daft but if you take into example the workplace when a new guy starts you talk to him and show him the ropes you have to remember alot of these people don`t have a clue who you r and what its all about, I still don`t know so am goin to try and brass neck it at the central meet. I would like to say thank you to the guys at awd! I spoke to them briefly when i got my diagnostic done and the guys where superb and could tell me what was wrong and how to fix it, i have been lookin for a decent garage to send my pride and joy to and think av found it so i hope to see you guys soon with hand ful of cash.

I can c where addison is coming from i joined last year and i have only made it to 1 meet, it`s hard 2 walk up to a bunch of guys and say hello bcause you don`t know what they will say especially me i`m 23 and i was at awd and i`m getting slatted for having a bodykit and sounds fitted to my ra. I`m not saying you r a bad bunch of blokes but there has been comments made about my car and it wasn`t nice so from that example you can see how hard to talk 2 a bunch of strangers.

If i can get the old box fixed then i probably will. Its making whining noises under load hense i wan`t to get ma old box fixed.

I asked Mark a while ago about it when he did my clutch and he said he would have sent it to topgear. I will give Hypertech a ring, cheers guys.

Can someone advise me on a gearbox specialist for ma wrx type ra. It has been in at topgear in Rutherglen 4 times and i gave up and got an sti box for it 2 years ago now this 1 is giving me problems and i would like 2 get the original box back in it, if anyone could help me i would be greatful.

Don`t know anybody way a scooby but i will give the maf a check. Had the car out at weekend and it ran like a wee sweety no problems so am planning new plugs for it next weekend. Thanks guys for all the help.
