  1. As early as possible and with a Shell station just up the road i will probably be there for most of the day. FUN, FUN, FUN Grant
  2. Benefit of being in the club is if u get stuck in your Saxo then just post up you are stuck and we will p*ss ourselves laughing for a while then come and pick you up from your work and deliver you home. Grant
  3. Location will be Merlin House carpark, just along from where the Glasgow meet is held. If this stuff keeps falling then i will be burning Optimax at a scary rate for no reason whatsoever Feel free to join me for 1 at a time fun If you know of a more suitable car park that is free from traffic islands, lights and the such like, feel free to post up in the morning. Grant
  4. Even had a wee Justy out for a hurl and its 4WD system is the same as its big brother. To hell with this i am away back out as it might thaw before i wake in the morning. Grant
  5. Just spent the past hour and a half in a Hillington car park in the company of a few good friends. Already 2 - 3 inches lieing and it is still giving it laldy. I have set my alarm for early o'clock for some more pointless Optimax burning. Grant
  6. The only 2bar of Boost it will be running is in the petrol tank with 2 of the Cadbury variety floating about. Peter the Great's cheesecake will cure all manner of motoring ills but i am afraid resurrecting a sh*t Renault is not one of them. Grant
  7. Been laughing like a rabid baboon over some of his replies to the most obscure questions in the world. Grant
  8. Alyn at ASPerformance gets my vote!!! Top bloke and quick delivery. Grant
  9. Bl00dy hippy toff!!! [] Away you go and get spruced up for your date with Strathclydes finest tomorrow.[:S] Cyril T Squirrel
  10. Best of luck mate and enjoy the shitty weather. Grant
  11. Well i have been told i look like a tree hugging hippy and it is another 7 mins before you can use my Sunday name of Cyril. Grant
  12. Next you will be telling me that Irish Al is from Watford..........[] Grant
  13. Well Michelle Fish is giving me a stoaner and a half if his/her prediction is correct. A RV point between Paisley and Clarkston would be good but i fear we may need to travel A rather moist Grant
  14. Who has snow that is usable. The whole of Aberdeen is under snow apparently so who is the furthest south or closest to Glasgow with the slippy stuff on the ground. Grant
  15. Was not planning on going on but as usual the bug bit and i had too strap her down. The car is mapped to 1.4bar but this is running the injectors at 99.9% duty. This close tolerance is cool for ramping it up on the road but i did not fancy putting her on the rollers running so close to the wind. 293.9bhp and 270lbs/ft at 1.1bar peak and 1.0bar stable Well happy as a starting point with fuelling and ignition all spot on courtesy of Mr Forrest. Next to buy and fit is 550 or 740 injectors and maybe strap the already purchased 20G on it for a laugh. Got to natter away like a monkey on speed to some old friends and scare the hell out of some new friends. Strange to see a RA turn up in the car park with the exact same alloys and the exact same bodykit as my car, if you are reading this mate then welcome and smart car. Higgy, pleasure as always my Welsh friend. Hats off to Spooks for arranging another top day and to the Rosie and Lindsay for the excellent coffee and cakes Ed-209, thats a fair hike for a WRX with a backbox and panel filter. Excellent starting point. Dieselpower, Stunning car but i reckon a phone call to Subaru in order i reckon, 10-1 afr is not healthy, seen worse, and your Exhaust Gas Temp was a hot to touch even coming out the backbox. I wont even mention the Type-R-Scotland sticker on the rear screen........oooopppsss sorry. Col666, pleasure to chat today sir STEVO, keep punting those warrenties and maybe one day you will have raised enough to get that long awaited hair transplant. Grant { the guy wearing the sleepng bag for a jacket, ho hum it was warm in there }
  16. Mr Adonis, the only thing that will survive your infamous 6000 rpm launches is something like a PPG gearset, cost about £2000. Maybe a 6 speed UK or JDM box and diff combo would be next on the list at about £1500. The STI Version 5 and 6 are the strongest classic boxes and maybe one from a STI RA would suit your needs with its DCCD trickery, cost about £1000. Cheapest route to get you back on the road is a replacment phase 1 box at about 350 -500 notes and you will need to match the code that is printed next to the starter motor on the white strip of plastic. Well done on the result today as 310 is awesome.....hats off sir!!! Grant
  17. Also When filling the system put the heaters to the hot position and blast the fan onto full power. As the car starts to get some heat into it keep pumping the bottom raditor hose until the thermostat opens and the hose becomes very warm to the touch. Now switch of the engine Once the expansion tank wont take any more fluid, on with the cap and take her a short drive and then let her cool down to ambient temp, then top up with the engine running, again pumping the bottom radiator hose Grant
  18. are you not one for 'givin it ping?' All for giving it ping but admiting to it on a public website is not the best idea. The polis have been known to read this forum That is why all speed referneces also have "Proving ground" or "test track" contained in the post Grant
  19. Only because i could not go [] Grant
  20. I give you different Grant
  21. As i said, just dont fart near it and it will be fine. Gonna send some of the snow south and slightly west when you are finished with it. Very dissappointed with Atlantic Gulf Stream this year. Grant.
  22. http://www.shoalhaven.net.au/~motorsport/rof/page8/ click on boys from the bush............mad aussie nutters know how to race and chat to the commentators at the same time while cracking open a few tinnes. RESPECT Inspiration for this find comes from TOCA 3 on the PS2 and the V8's over the mountain Grant
  23. My post is a bit out of date!!!! Bone dry road, 2nd gear, 2000rpm...................at about 3200rpm, we lose traction between the tarmac and rubber. Anyway just ask HISOOB, Wilky, Matt or Andyjdmsti how powerful my Blue Bomber is cause it scares the crap out of me when i nail it Grant
  24. Stunning, bloody stunning. You only need to fart near a STI manifold and the paint does a runner!!! I was following your SN thread on distance and checking the car out. Glad it was turned out to be a cracker!!! Grant
  25. Where?.............Japan How much?................FOOOOOOOKONG LOADS OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!! [] Grant
