Thank god for that........would then have to ask who the hells i have!!! [] Probably this guys My good friend Stan Pike, remember him Imy............crazy fool walks to and from work, about 12 miles each way, carrying 30 odd kilos in each hand. Why? For something to do and keep him active http://www.intensefitness.co.uk/stanspage.html Crazy geordie ex-marine now makes wrought iron weight lifting gear and my 9 stone ass picks it up from Langholm every day. Good day spent cleaning up the old RA, my car will get the same treatment soon* but bear in mind last time i fueled my car Optimax was 94.9 a litre. Does come up stunning with a little bit of elbow grease and some yellow marigolds. Tyres and wheels will be done next week before the relay. *Do you reckon Imy will help me polish and wax my car for 3 hours......HHHHMMMMM

I am quite happy for Ricey to call my car a sh*thole, me a grunter thats a waste of space with a chip on my shoulder and i do not reply to his direct insults on the forum. I kept my reply to his direct insults by PM and being the waste of space with a chip on my shoulder, i thought this would be the best way to communicate to keep the grievence off the public forum but i have never recieved a PM in return (unless you count publishing all my PM's on the forum and telling the boss that the bad Squirrel is sending me nasty PM's) May be a waste of space with a chip on my shoulder that drives a sh*thole but i have given Davie advice that will see him to his requested goal with a healthy degree of reliability. I will stand by that advice as it has seen me and a few others ok with thier pursuit for power. If i want advice on graphics for my car then i know where to go! If i want advice on interior trim and how not to do it, i know where to go!. If i want to hideously overfuel my car to the point of losing power i know where to go! After Davie fits the pump, regulator and intercooler to his car, what pressure do you reckon he should set the regulator to, what Air to Fuel Ratio should be aimed for and what would you use to measure this AFR? This is not a Stalinist regime where my opinion will be dictated to me like some sort of military dictatorship I think chav cars with graphics, flamer kits, neons and humungous alloys are the best thing ever -

Go for a Japanese Domestic Model {JDM}which has a superior specification to the UK cars. Get a decent 18k JDM Blob eye spec car with all the goodies as std and spend 1000 - 2000 properly to free up those strangled ponies So for 20k you could have a 350bhp+ car with all the goodies that would give you amazing performance on a safe ECU map or a UK car for 14k and spend a hell of a lot more getting it up to the staring point of the Import cars. Do some more research before you part with your hard earned cash as the wrong decision will bug you for a long time to come. Grant

the squiggle replied to micra_wrc's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Had the ECU open mate at point of inspection. Still had the plastic cover snug over the ECU and the socket was exposed with no chip in place. -
all this fresh air is going to my head........[] I was thinking of Preparation H Kenny, one of the swinging factors when choosing the car for Imy was it had recently been properly disected, inspected and rebuilt with the proper parts. The engine mounts were also split in two and been replaced with Grp N items from Roger Clark
-
What problems were they? Grant

When you said that you were gonna tidy up the rough bits..........[] Proper Preparation Prevents Pi** Poor Performance and that is Proper Preparation Hows the inlet manifold coming along? Grant
