  1. ....but when you use the search facilty all will be revealed and if after you have read the previous posts on the subject. Then please feel free to ask away, although please be patient for your answer as i still type slower than Bandit circumnavigates Knockhill The FAQ section of the forum is very useful for newcomers to the Subaru model range
  2. I aint a full member but still do the social side of things At the last Knockhill i spotted Westlothianscoobs old wagon there and someone about to jump in. I knew this was a newbie and hollered out across the pit area. It was AlanK and was about to head home but cause some idiot hollered at him, he decided to sit down with a few other members for a warm cuppa and he got to know a few of us. Now after chatting on MSN a couple of times we are due to get married in the summer.....................[]
  3. Colins looking a bit pale, almost blends into the snowy background. I suppose the white racing suit and car does not help
  4. Your not thinking of running the car with that Mines ECU are you? [] Thats almost as frightening as running round a wet Knockhill on Barum tyres
  5. Looking good mate, now dont become as festideous as when you had the Blob-eye Can i have a (lengthy) PM as well please, i do enjoy a good length now and again
  6. 1 - If your sidelights won't switch off look for the parking light switch on top of the steering column . 2 - Use the search function on the forum before asking the same old question . 3 - The best first mod for an impreza is the exhaust (backbox at least) 4 - Buy a newage 5 - Make sure you get regular quality oil / filter changes every 3 - 4000 miles 6 - Always run the car on good quality fuel - V Power/BP Ultimate/Tesco 99 and add octane booster for safety in an unremapped import 7 - Avoid "chip"ing an impreza - get it remapped by an expert like Andy Forrest (Apexi for classics, ECUtek for newage) 8- Sell the Newage and buy a Classic
  7. Miss is usually associated with a failing coil pack on the early cars Take them out and check under the rubber boot for any signs of cracking and also take a look at the condition of the plugs Should have popped in when you passed the resteraunt
  8. Those diving boots look real comfy![] Graeme They are not that far away from what you are currently using to control your uber powerful Subaru
  9. Seen a Impreza Fire Marshalls car on the M74 Not seen any marked cars in the area, still the same Skoda Superb and Silver 5 series
  10. Nice one boss Now, as Craig says, get out there and enjoy it but change the bloody footwear as the divers boots were only rated to 350hp
  11. Introducing Smokey Nagata Banned from numerous countries all over the globe for bringing his 1000bhp RB26 powered Supra to make biug fast speed on public road 290kmh on a New Zealand highway, yup arrested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivG41mzY5yg...ated&search= The new Aqua Line roadway in Tokyo, so he felt the need to take the Supra up it on opening day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMwn00F2z_o...ated&search= Now he taunts some T5 Police cars on the A1(M) "Do you think this is a bloody playground".........."what"................"Where is the video"........."I only speak Japanese".........."Your nicked"....................28 day ban http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXIJkJlt1ss...ated&search= Autobahn in a V35, over 330kmh
  12. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Consider one of my 18 entries to be from Germany
  13. This car makes me sex wee all over the place
  14. Very nice indeed A fitting tribute to decent chap especially the 332lbs/ft bit
  15. Q1. No some short dude from Nippon fitted it and yes i know it is ugly Q2. The fifth injector is wired in fuel and electrical wise but is not used by the ECU at all. It an be used with certain aftermarket ECU's. It was there as part of the homologation regs for the Grp N and Grp A car of the time. The SA Wagon is indeed rare but there is one in Lanark, basically a stripped out wagon a near RA gearing and wind up windows
  16. Thats the insurance pence per bhp Would would be the pence per bhp to build it?
  17. James, your car is the wagon equivelent of mine. Not 100% sure on the build number but 200 comes to mind for some reason. I will check the Jap literature to see what it throws up
  18. First off it is called a STI RA V Limited of which there were 555 made There are 2 members on the board with these fine cars, Mckelvr and Micra-wrc (Imy, my other half) both own 1996 V Limited and find that they truely are awesome cars Top speed with the limiter in place is 112mph and without the limiter it is around 120mph but the accel is ballistic for a std car with 60 coming in at under 5 secs. Some of the V Limited s come with Air-con, electric windows, central locking and some do not, it entirely depends on what the first owner in Japan ticked at the Subaru showroom when ordering the car The 1996 V Limited is the first car the Subaru sold out of in Japan before the production run began, so the cars are individully specced. Imy's car comes with Air con, electric windows and quick rack steering, other cars vary as to spec and equip HTH Grant
  19. TOM WALKINSHAW IS NOT FECKING ENGLISH
  20. Go on then, i dare you. Remember i am a fully paid up member of the 2bar of boost club, well 2.1bar according to the AVC-R
  21. Ask Andy to map it for 14.7-1 AFR and 2bar boost, that will break it in about 10 secs
  22. Twas a great run out in the country Next one is March time and will be around a the same area as that particuler run
