I'm not sure, but certainly, I didn't fancy any of these options, I'm just happy I got away without a producer/retest/fine!!

God knows what was wrong with cars they took away on the low loader, my initial thought was maybe no insurance or possibly bad mechanicals, but the clio and corsa were only about 4/5 years old, so who knows!

I was keeping my head down and gob shut, although driving a blue scooby with big wing etc the car was probably doing the talking for me!!!

Bald tyres or lack of insurance would be the main reasons they wouldnt let you drive away unless it was badly mechanically unsafe.

not fussy about having 2 maps tbh. what about the walbro should i get this fitted.

Mines already had an uprated pump fitted when i got it. I am sure the more technically minded will be along to advise soon enough but it wouldnt be a bad idea to get one fitted. Andy is about as he has posted a couple of times today.

my car is booked in for a remap with andy in july, i was going to supply the apexi fc and commander but it turned out to be already sold so the question is, can andy supply the apexi or should i go for the slightly more expensive simtek? i have emailed andy twice over the last few days and had no response to the same question. is he abroad? oh my car is sti v3 classic. was also thinking about getting a walbro fuel pump before the mapping, already got a full decat fitted. does anyone know much about the simtek? has anyone had it fitted to their car?

Andy can supply both. It depends what you want, do you want two maps if so the simtek is the one. I think Acid has this on his car. I have the apexi on my version 2 sti and i am very happy with the results.

Anyway this has every reciept from new including its original bill of sale for £31500,ouch!!

Reciept for new engine at nobles and full full full service history,all in all a proper car with a year warranty.

Gav i think BigAl might have been refering to the P1 in the original post. As for the one Gav is selling i know two of the former keepers and it was always well looked after.

Treated my self to a Canon 400d a few weeks ago but havent had much of a chance to use it. I have never had a camera like this before so its been on auto but i will try and experiment with the various settings in the future.

I took my brother along to get a few shots of our cars together. We just happened to find a deserted stretch of road

I'm not into detailing either, but each to their own. Some people like to mod cars, some like to track them, some like the strip, others like polishing them, some like taking pictures of their own and everyone elses and some even like all those things. SIDC is a community where we swap ideas and stories and the like. If you see a detailing thread or any other that you don't fancy, jist dinna read it, that's what I do.

Sorry to hear this Brian. Dunc at hypertech will be able to sort you out. I dont know if he has a trailer to pick your car up but maybe somebody on here could help you out with getting it through to him. I am sure the more technically minded will be along to help you out with your options.

Is this OK to use? It's my mates motor, I use methanol in my modded P1 but don't want to cause any damage to someone elses car!

Would it not need to be mapped to get the full benefit of a methanol mix?

Tried the change John and didnt like either of them on either car colour of the gunmetal looked cracking on the RA but the PFF7 style deffo didnt .Think it suits the newer car much better.

If i do put gunmetal colour on i think it will be the Tarmac style of wheel

hi new on here and looking for some help! will an sti top mount fit my version 1 impreza? i've told they will not fit due to bulkheads being different on v 1 and 2s to v3 onwards?

any help much appreciated.

Cant tell you if it will fit or not but i have a version 2 sti intercooler in my garage that you are welcome to try it and see.
