"Bosses at Scotland's only crude oil refinery have started a shutdown after claiming an impending strike will compromise safety.
Ineos said the Grangemouth refinery could shut for "at least a month", and warned of major fuel shortages. "
The compromising safety bit is Bull**** but it does look as if i will be on strike from next sunday

Can anyone tell me if the wheels i have for sale will fit over brembo brakes?
The wheels are 17" Inovite tarmac 2 alloys .

A hawkeye STi Roofspoiler? Y'know the one that is at the top of the rear window where it joins the roof.
Have had a wee gander at the subaru website, and cannae find it, but I'd imagine it will be uber expensive should they sell replacement ones.
Looking to fit one to my GB270 - Reckon it would look pretty good.

ABW do one for an 06 not sure if thats the same as yours.

I have to agree with superstar tradesman regarding SIDC, his first central meet was mine also and everyone was very friendly. Like I say, an open day probably isn't the best time to be making sweeping judgements about the Scooby scene. Go to AWD yourself or pop along to a regional SIDC meet and you'll soon find out we're a very friendly bunch. Unless you turn up in an EVO
That was until we found out what you do for a living!

got another classic in white this time but i think its to much with the white wheels, anyone got a white classic with 17" gold speedlines to see how it looks, cheers
Go to the scottish events section and then the central meet and have a look at paulc555 profile as he has what you are looking for.

EH.........how does" pm s*nt" turn into "I touch goats" ?????????
Its ment to stop people sending endless Y....H...P.....M messages.

Cheers, not getting it fitted just yet, a few more things to do first so no rush, are you sure you want to help my "chavved" motor ?
I will have a look in the box for mines and see if it has instructions with it, if it has you are welcome to get a copy of them. I am at work just now but should be home at the back of 7 and i will have a look.

Top Notch as always.............looks like the rain stayed away too !
Ooooft very nice and the cars arent bad either
Great pitures as always

A big thank you to AWD and all the SIDC members that made me so welcome
Today in Perth
Turned up with a pocket full of money and a list of what I wanted
Was hoping to chat to someone from AWD to book car in for upgrades
No this is how it went
No one wanted to speak to the new guy
No one in AWD wanted to speak to me
You’re all so cliquey
Open day but only if your one of the lads
AWD you will not need to talk to me as my money will not come your way
SIDC you can stick my membership where the sun don’t shine
Get your self along to the central meet on tuesday and meet some friendly owners and dont be so hasty.

Thats quite some selection you,ve had.

Doune Hill Climb
in Scottish Scoobies
Posted
Went to my first hill climb today at Doune. Great day and decent weather. It might have been my first hill climb but it wont be my last. The guys driving the cars must have balls of steel. From the spectating the track looked very narrow so i cant imagine what it looked like from in car. John St car was looking very quick looked to be having a good battle with the guy in the black evo. Spoke to a few of the drivers and one of the single seater guys let my mate try it out for size as he is thinking of getting in to hill climbing. The driver of the single seater told us that he feels Doune is the scariest track in the uk. Felt sorry for the guy in the early escort ( mk 1 or mk 2) that caught a bolder and just about ripped off his front wheel before the car ended up on its side. Didnt get any pictures of the action on the day but i am sure stephen and neil got plenty. For anyone thats never been before its on again tomorrow.
