Genuine question as I never made it today, was there any newages competing in Time Attack?
Yes at least one that i can remember, it was a white blob eye and also another one that may have been a hawkeye ( dynamix from scoobynet i think )
-
Good luck Jimser.
I look forward to hearing your results!

Not on track i know but hope its of use.

Yeah it was me and Dan up in my 555! Only had it 2 weeks but loving it, needs a few bits and bobs done but will get there in the end. Yours looks the gem paul.
Great day out today!
Cheers Strapper
I saw quite a few early imprezas today. Had another one behind me by the time i got nearer kincardine.

Great day out. Was so happy to finally see the Gobstopper in action. Amazing! Lots of great cars competing and was shocked at just how quick and bloody loud some of them were.
Paul- the car is looking good with the new wheels. I was passenger in the 555 (Strapper on this forums car) infront of you as we left Knockhill, and then behind you further down the road
Dan i wondered if that would be somebody on here. Nice to see another 555.

Great day out today! Met quite a few from the sidc. Didnt bother with many pictures as i am sure the resident photographers will be along with some but the two cars of the day for me were the Gobstopper and the 500 bhp lotus elise.
The gobstopper had the carbon fibre wheels and the elise had a carbon fibre back end. Also spotted Andy F up watching the drifting.

Two ordered

cheers, much appreciated
Scroll down this page and you will see some picture, not a full right up but like i said if you pm him i am sure he will give you some pointers.

cant decide if i should take my roof rails off or not & also don't know how easy it is to remove them as they r about a foot above my head height
has any one removed theirs, how they fitted ?
Have a look on the wagon thread on here or on scooby net. Granby has just done his a week or so a go, i am sure he would give you some pointers. I will have a look and see if i can find a link for you.

I know what you mean. Ever since i had the front mount fitted on mines and the mapping done i have been paranoid.
The slightest noise or smell has me looking at the dash to check everything is ok.

Hi Guys,
just logged on, living in Dunfermline, working in Qatar.
Bought my first Subaru last month, a bright red wrx wagon, standard apart from a ppp, and so far i'm pretty impressed but she deos like a drink!
I'm still in Qatar at the moment and was going to wait till i got home to log on but there are a couple of bits in the sales section i'm interested in so thought i'd log on sooner rather than later and then miss them.
Owned a few various cars over the years with out really being loyal to one make, Clio Trophy, Focus RS, 350z, BMW 1 series amongst others.
Always fancied a wrx but insurance put me off, ( i have a TT99 on my licence), but got a very good quote from Quick Fit and then started looking, wanted a wagon as it's a bit more practical and seen mine on Pistonheads looking lovely in red, poor guy spent over 3500 pounds on a brand new engine from Subaru just before xmas.
I'll post some pics when i get home at the end of the month and hope to meet some of you soon.
Craig
Hello and welcome! I am just down the road from you in Kincardine. Have you taken the insurance out yet? It might be worth a call to Aplan or Keith Michaels.

You were parked up outside the Chinese when I went to the shop on Sunday. Was going to come over for a looky and a blether, but you'd burbled past by the time I got my milk!
Sorry Andy i never saw you, i was picking up an ex work mate and taking him for a quick blast.

like them better than the white wheels(no offence gus)
have you considered lowering it slightly?
lovely car
Jimser the car already has
Whiteline springs
Whiteline F&R ARB
Whiteline F&R droplinks
Whiteline ALK
Whiteline Steering bushes
Fast Rd Geometry settings
it would look slightly better a bit lower but i am very happy with how it handles.
Peter i am not sure about the weight of the wheels.
-
nice pics but no scoobies
-
oh dear!!...i now have wet pants...i want those wheels soooooooo much, you cant beat gold wheels on a classic
Thanks for all the comments folks
For those that liked the white wheels look out for pictures in the for sale section on sunday.
Frank the wheels are 18 x 7.5 with a 48 offset.
The tyres are 215 35 18 toyo t1r.

Well thats my mods 99% complete ( for now ). After having the front mount fitted and the car mapped i am over the moon with the performance, that just left the looks.
I liked the white wheels that were on the car when i got it from gus but the look i wanted for it was slightly different. I bought a set of speedline st2 wheels for the car but after fitting them i still wasnt 100% happy so the long hunt began to find the right wheels. I had spent the morning cleaning and polishing the car to get it ready for tomorrow.
Well today they arrived
I also treated myself to a new set of flaps to go with the new wheels.

With my bugeye wrx andy used the rear heated demister button to switch between the two boost settings.

Got a pleasant surprise today when I got in from work. The new rims were waiting on me. A big thanks to Gaz at Rimstyle for the excellent deal and superfast delivery. Here's some pics what do you all think??
Very nice mate
The cars looking very clean!

*333 WRC by any chance??
Thats the one

A few people have told me not to wait, but I've made the arrangement and will stick to my word on that.. and they know that the end of May is the last chance they've got before things are taken out of my control and they get a knock at the door from the Police.
I've also linked this to the Mitsubishi Lancer Register as Jamis has just bought a Yellow Evo 5 and joined up there as 'an enthusiast' too.. like I said before, I hope that others will remember this thread when dealing with these people and tread very VERY carefully themselves.
Cheers,
Grant
Grant my brother posts on the mlr as evobaz i think he posted on your thread over there. I spoke to him and made him aware of what was going on. I dont think they will get a warm welcome over there.

It would indeed Dipsy..can't say i've seen it myself though..it only seemingly comes out in the better weather so Pauls' probably one of the first to see it lol.
Its very nice and it has a number plate that terzo owners would like ( so andy was telling me )
-
Paul, i thought you were going for the Revolution wheels? They would look mega on the car and very similar to McRae's
I should hopefully be ordering them this week, the guy was out of stock when i phoned last week.
