Do like a good wagon myself... Bloody good cars!
I think the saloon and wagon rear seats are the same but not 100 percent sure.

Thought you had to have pay as you go registered now cos of that?
I am sure you could get a hold of an old phone and a sim card from ebay or somewhere quiet easily.
-
Guy may be a timewaster or he may be dodgy, if you can maybe stick the car somewhere else, if you have a mobile number for him surely he could be traced thru that too.
Mobile phone numbers ar pretty useless if its pay as you go he would just bin it.

I must have just been lucky Grant, the first guy that phoned me from London via piston heads asked all the right questions and then flew up to Edinburgh and bought the car cash. The only worry i had was the cash being dodgy but the bloke came back to my local bank whilst i deposited the money before heading off with my wagon. The guy may just be a dreamer or he may be genuine and just hasn't bought a car from so far away or in this manner before. ( bit of a cheek wanting you to drive it to him though )

Can anyone give me advice or any 'links' to use as a step by step guideon fitting a boost guage to my 1999 model classic .I've not done this before and would like to know i'm doing it properly first time around, any input appreciated.Thanks.
Tommo do a search either here or over on scoobynet for fitting boost gauge and you will find lots of threads explaining how to do it.

can some one tell me what the real reason for the strike is too

Big changes to the pension scheme.

PS, i used A-Plan, £40 cheaper than my 5 series BMW was and they never even asked if it was alarmed
I would double check that mate as the would not cover mine for theft until i got an alarm fitted.

Sorry for the wee tangent here....
Got any tips on how to transport one of those things on the back of an impreza with no tow bar and proper wing on the back? Been tempted to buy myself one this year but transporting it to a decent forest is the tricky part....
Try the thule website.

nice on mate im on the look out for a new road bike cheap for getting to work winter training etc but if the petrol thing gets that bad no one will be going to work anyway
just scare mongering as usual but if everybody panic buys we will be stuffed just buy your petrol as normal same day same amount etc the there will be enough to go round
neil
Have actually read the thread this is not scare mongering. Some of the plants have begun shutting down, by the end of the week production will have stopped. The union and the management arent even discussing the problems any more only how to shut the place down safely.

Neil great pictures as ever! How close do john and the black evo get to that barrier

Thats him. a 07 civic type r import that kicks the uks ass! Just spoke to him on the phone and he was at a gun range firing a desert eagle yesterday!
I had a mate who was in cambodia and got to fire an ak47. They then offered him a hand grenade that he could blow up a chicken with or for more cash he could shoot a cow with a rocket launcher

Good luck with getting someone to answer that one.
I asked 20 minutes ago on Page 1 and I count at least 3 INEOS employees who have posted since then and totally ignored me.
Andy i am not ignoring you but i work in the chemicals rather than the refinery so i dont know. I was hoping somebody else would answer taht one.

My mates name is Steve Mallet. Any off you know him?

No pay for a month.....that would suck!
Hope the boss's back down before it gets to bad eh!
Not on strike for a month, its only a two day strike but due to the nature of our business it can take a couple of weeks to shut down and hydrocarbon free our plant and then starting it back up can take quite some time as well.
-
A "Brother" and Fellow Subaru Driver, I'm in the Refinery, where are you?
Cheers, Paul T.
As space man said, mind the gap. I work on g4 mate.
-
I'm sure that even if it is just the drivers that are going on strike, I'm sure that the site must have some sort of safe storage level, they can hold more than what they do, but theres bigger safely implications...
but I do Agree, this could quite well be a minor pain in the butthole...
The union told the company that the plants would be hydrocarbon free'd before they were left so there should be no safety issues. I heard from a source that diesel will run out before petrol but i dont know what stock levels are kept.
-
Will check that out with my mate who works there. Although he is in vagas to watch the fight tonight!
Dont need to check it out mate i work there! Unless something drastic happens the strike looks as if its going ahead. They are starting to shut down plants tomorrow as it takes a long time to get them hydrocarbon free.
-
Press scare mongering as usual and showing the sort of responsability that causes major problems.
Why would the driver striking cause major saftey issues?? BBC want a kick up the ar$e!! I will be filling up the focus on friday to be safe though in case all the panic merchants start their crap! The same ones that at xmas buy 15 loafs from the supermarket and meant I had none!
grrrr
It not the drivers striking! Its the whole site
