Hi All,
Just to let you know there will not be a "meal meet" in March as I'm going to treat the Rolling Road day at Zen as the Bedfordshire Scoobies monthly meet so the next meal will be in April - date to be confirmed.
Cheers,
Rach

Fancy coming via Oxford?
Well it would certainly make sure the scoobs were nice and warm wouldn't it?
-
I'm really looking forward to this, damn good Chinese!
That's what I like to hear.

Can we arrange a convoy from Bedford?
Yes a convoy will be arranged from Bedford, collecting any others who want to join us along the way.
I'm thinking of meeting in Bedford around 7.45 am and then going onto the McDonalds at Wellingborough for 8.30am so we can grab a cuppa before a 5 minute blast down the dual carriageway to Zen.
Obviously, these are only rough times and if anyone else wants to meet up please let me know and I'll adapt route/times to suit.
Cheers,
Rach

Hi guys,
Just a quick update, we've been over to Zen again today and Paul has some guys lined up as well so we should have a minimum of 15 cars on the rollers.
We're looking at getting over there for 9 am so that we can all get sorted and the first car running for about 9.30 am.
Any questions please don't hesitate to give me a shout.
Cheers,
Rach

At this rate i'll still have my scoob so this is still a go for me.
Regarding power figure, God knows! Standard 265. But having said that, she's beaten PPP'd STi's on the strip without too much effort
so i'll hazard a guess around 280-90bhp.
One way to find out for sure
Edit: Just found this.
1/4 mile times for a PPP '03 car on the strip.
And my best time so far (and i'm by no means a professional race driver): 13.6
Well from a purely selfish point of view it'll be great if you do still have your scoob as I reckon it's going to be a good day out.
Just think how much of a bonus it will be when your can show the new owner recent data sheets showing your correct BHP

I'll provisionally add myself and a mate to this list, but to be honest it will be dependant on whether the Scooby City rolling road day on the 13th March goes ahead or not. If it dosen't we will definatly be along to this one. Sounds like a bit of a cop out I know but we've already paid upfront for the above event - so I can't really blow it off now......

Rich at Redline asked me what sort of power are the cars hoping for on the rollers?
Tbh mate I personally don't have a clue what the others are running at but mine will be pretty standard "ish" WRX with PPP and Nige's R is running somewhere around the 330 mark.

Ed,
Not sure if any of your guys will be interested by I'm running a rolling road day at Zen Performance on 21st March, details are in the East Anglian section.
Cheers,
Rach

I did thanks. I might pop down and see you guys. Not sure I should be putting mine on the rollers though, a slight case of steam coming from under the front driverside bonnet is concerning me right now. Typically as soon as I spot it it stops.
Going to see if the better half wants to go to the air show in Abingdon though, looks a good day out.
Lol - typical scoobie - like to keep you guessing! Yeah feel free to pop down to Zen you'll be more than welcome.
Hope your better half decides to come to Abingdon - we really enjoyed it last year and the air display was spectacular

Really need to get these numbers up guys to make it worthwhile for Paul - go on put your name down, you know you want to!
-
I don't have time to look at where I'm replying, I just like writing my name on things lol
No worries mate, I've put your name down as a spectator on our thread anyway - think you should have a go though you might be pleasantly suprised.

Nobody interested?????
