  2. My scoob is silent B) was I had the cash to do something about it :P

I guess I could just remove the rear silencer and center section lol B)

What and leave them off? Would certainly be noisy then

Rubes is by no means loud but we've just had the centre pipe changed which has done away with the resonator and that's certainly made a difference, only cost about £90. Next stop is doing away with the Prodrive backbox and getting a Tornado one from Scoobyparts

  3. what would be best for me, ill be coming from cambridge way?

You have two options really, if you'd like to convoy with us we'll be using the A421 into Bedford from the Black Cat roundabout on the A1, there's a lay by about half a mile (ish) along the A421, we could meet you there at around 7.15 a.m or your most direct route would be along the A14.

    Cheers

    Rach

  4. Ok guys convoy route and times as promised:

Meet at the Hungry Horse car park, 397 Goldington Road, Bedford, MK41 0DS.

    Leaving here at 7.30 a.m

Following A428 into Bedford onto the A6 North (Rushden)

West onto the A45 at Higham Ferrers to the A509 roundabout where we'll be stopping at Maccy D's, Enstone Court, Wellingborough, NN8 2DR - approximate arrival time 8.15 a.m

Leaving Maccy D's at 8.45 a.m to arrive at Zen for 9 a.m

A509 North (Park Farm Way), over 1st roundabout with Sainsburys on the right, up the hill, straight over the 2nd roundabout (Bannatyne's gym will be on your left), second exit at the next roundabout (Sinclair Drive), second left into Baird Court and Zen Performance is the 2nd unit on the left.

Zen's full adress if you are not convoying with us is:

    Units C6 & C7 Baird Court,

    Park Farm,

    Wellingborough,

  6. Ok guys,

Rather than reply to each question individually I'm now going to attempt to answer them all in one go (so if I miss anything please shout):

    Mud Flaps

Not an issue - if need be the front ones can be moved out of the way of the rollers.

    Times

Paul would like to start at 9.30 a.m so if we can start getting there from 9 a.m onwards this will be perfect. Unless you want a specific time it will be on a first come, first served basis. He is also going to draw up an imdemnity form to be signed as well.

    Data Printouts

Power and torque at wheels and flywheel readouts and then a boost and air/fuel mix readout.

    Advice On The Day

Info will be available from the printouts and then Paul can take a separate discussion about particulars and advise.

    Payments

No deposit required, pay on the day. Cash is preferable but 'debit' card is ok. 'Credit' cards will have a 2% surcharge added.

Think that just about covers it all.

    Cheers,

    Rach

  7. what happened to it ....

.... no one told me you had check the oil on a regular basis

Now I won't tell you why the engine let go on the 'R' last year BUT..........................................................

Only joking! ( I'm dead when he sees this) :P

  8. I've just had to dig into the the deep and murky depths of my understairs cupboard to find these - excuse the quality of the pics but they are 22 years old:

    scan0002.jpg

And for you mean so and so's who want a good laugh at my 1980's perm....................................................TAA DAA!!!!!!!!!!!

    scan0003.jpg

Well I was young, that's my excuse :P

  9. Wow Goblin!

I also had a '82 Ford Escort - it was supposed to be red, but had got dull with age and some nice person put glue all over the roof!

    Got the motor in 1991 - 4 speed box - 4 door - cost me 900 notes - did 105 mph lol!

Sold it in 1993 for 500 notes :P:brickwall:

    Then went onto a 309 Sri :brickwall::censored:

Ah Matty, my little girl was gorgeous, I'll see if I can find some pics of her later and post them up (as long as there's some without me in them with my dodgy 1980's perm lol).

  10. Mine was a 1982 X reg Ford Escort 1.3L in Sunburst Red (how sad I still remember the name) :brickwall:

    Cost me £1500

I bought it because it was a 3 door and at 18 looks were everything (what am i on about I'm now 39 and they still are).

I sold it to the scrap man after I blew up 2 engines in 3 years - and yes guys I DID put oil in it!

Oh yes and as with all my cars she did have a name - this one was called "Rebel" :P

  11. About 11-12pm as I'm coming from Essex.

Will the guys from Zen be able to tweek or solve any issues while I'm there? I'm not sure if i'm a little under on boost or not as i'm not sure if my gauge is reading correct!

I had it on dyno at Torque dev in Essex and they said it was 0.9 but my gauge shows 0.75!

    Hiya,

11-12 should be fine, I'll be sorting out times on the rollers over the weekend/early part of next week so I'll get you on around midday if you want.

Paul is now a "one man band" so to speak so i can't say for definate whether he'll be able to help you out on the day but I need to speak to him over the next couple of days so I'll let you know.

    Hope this helps,

    Rach
