Got room for 2 little 'uns?
We'll meet you at the layby at 7.30 - if we're running late for any reason Stu I'll text you so you can leave without us.

Hi and welcome to SIDC
As said above I'm working on a joint Beds, Herts & Cambs meet up and drive out in the very near future - keep an eye out on the threads
-
Hi and welcome to SIDC
I'm actually the Regional Organiser for Bedfordshire but as Herts doesn't have a RO at the moment I'm currently in the process of working out a meet for the Beds and Herts guys and girls (not forgetting my trusty Cambs friends too of course
) to have a bit of a meet and drive out somewhere - keep your eyes peeled on the East Anglian section for more information.
-
Quick update guys - I've spoken to Tim at Scoobyparts and as much as he would love us to be able to have a meet at his place one of the other companies near him has lorries coming in and out of the yard on Saturdays and Sundays and he doesn't want to risk one of our cars getting damaged - so I'm afraid that idea is a no go
-
You won't need to be going like the clappers to enjoy the noise in that tunnel
Loved that tunnel when I had my old scooby with a full decat

I know a nice pub just outside of Weston in Herts its a nice quiet country pub great for a meet and then if you want to go for a drive there lots of nice windy country roads to go on which can take you some interesting places.
Baldock is another option as now they have re-vamped the main street there's lots of packing and a good place to park up, show off your car and grab a drink before taking a drive out towards buntingford etc.
Not sure about places in Bedford as i don't go around there apart from the athletics stadium.
I'm currently trying to get one of my work colleagues to come along as he has just bought a 06 STI Spec-D so hopefully another recruit
I've been working on a rough route starting off around Letchworth/Stevenage and finishing up around Wyboston in Cambs so we can get as many of us together as possible, it's pretty sketchy at the minute but looking at the map a pub in Weston could be a very good starting point - cheers
Keep up the recruitment work, it would be nice to get a group of us attending regular meets again

Rach,
How about organising somekind of trip to a theme park one weekend.
Once the kids go back to school they should be fairly quiet.
There are loads around that we could easily get to in a day, Alton Towers, Chesington, etc....
Hope we get something organised soon, I've not seen you guys since last Christmas
Phil
Sounds like a great idea Phil, trouble is people don't seem to want to travel a couple of miles at the mo let alone 60 + miles to a theme park
However if I'm wrong and all you guys would like to do this please just let me know and I'll get the ball rolling.
Don't worry, I promise I'll get something sorted soon AND I'll run the date past you first just to make sure you can make it this time!

Thought there would of been more interest in this as there seems to be loads of subaru,s around herts at the moment.
I think we'll have to hold a bit of a meet and drive out in Herts in the near future and see if we can "recruit" some new members along the way
-
Rach, we can sort out a food van if required
Perfect hun, I haven't had a chance to catch up with Tim yet but I'll contact him while you're away and we can have a chat when you get back if that's ok?

Do you reckon Tim at Scoobyparts would let us hold some sort of meet at his place?
I have spoken to Tim about this before and he was going to have a think about dates. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm still waiting!
I'll have another chat with him and see what I can come up with.

Some good ideas there guys - keep them coming

Hi All,
After a VERY busy July I am now back in business!
I think we are all very much aware that numbers have dwindled over the past few months at our meets and this is something I'd like to address.
Would you prefer a different venue, different day, different format?
This is the time to give your opinion (as long as it's not too rude
) - and let me know what you really want from your local meet.
Cheers,
Rach

Looks fantastic Stu and the rim protectors look a lot better on than I thought they would - could be tempted!
-
Oh my bl00dy god! Whatever happened?
As said above hope your friend is going to sort it all out for you.
-
I had a funny feeling that might be the case.
How about the week after, 27th?
I can do that date.
I've got quite a few busy weeks at the end of June/beginning of July - blame my kids! Will sort out a new date soon
-
Ok guys I've had to postpone this due to it being Fathers Day and people having commitments - new date will be posted soon.
Sorry to disappoint anyone who had already put their name down.
Cheers,
Rach

Lol, well if the quality of the work on that bypass is anything to go by, I would be inclined to agree!
Shocking isn't it? It's been like that for well over a year. God only knows how much it's costing!
-
That's top quality work for Bedfordshire I'll have you know Stu!
-
Sounds like a good idea just got to check with my social events organiser (the wife) to ensure that i'm not meant to be anywhere else that day. Where would we all meet before we start the run
Meeting places will be confirmed once attendees are known. I think I may have to postpone this to a later date due to a lot of people not being able to attend as it is on fathers day (which I had forgotten about - oops
). However I'm going to give it til the end of the week and see how much interest there is before anything is confirmed.

Hi guys,
It's time for the next Bedfordshire Scoobies meet and this time we're going to venture outside the confines of the county!
The plan is for us all to have a lovely day out in sunny Great Yarmouth on so dig out your sunglasses, shorts and your kiss me quick hats and come along and join us for a fun day out!
Times and meeting points will be arranged nearer the time.
Cheers,
Rach

And again.
Guys please just take 5 minutes to have a look at this survey, we need as much input as possible.
Thanks,
Rach

Good news that it was recovered so quickly - hope the damage is not too bad

Well I've just spoken to Nige - I don't know if this makes any sense but he says we'll be going A421, A40, A34, A420 . . . . . . . . .![:D](https://sidc.co.uk/uploads/emoticons/default_biggrin.png)
You have to forgive me, I'm a woman, directions only make sense when they're on the satnav![B)](https://sidc.co.uk/uploads/emoticons/default_cool.png)
