  1. One thing - INSURANCE! I'm paying nearly £900 and i'm 29............you must be paying a stack?
  2. Hmmm, I'm thinking that - it's a 400 mile round trip! Maybe I can get it inspected by a local dealer first?
  3. After collecting my car on Saturday I noticed on my way home from the dealer (Subaru) that at high speeds there was a little bit of wobble on braking above 100mph (I came home via a circuit of course). Is this likely to be the brake discs and am I within my rights to contact the dealer about this? When I went for a test drive I was unable to get up to these speeds. The car has just been serviced too, so surely this should have been picked up? Any advice much appreciated.
  4. I'm working my way through the first tank of V Power and it seems to be growling in all the right places! Thoroughly enjoying it at the minute - the fuel and the car! [Y]
  5. Thanks guys. I will just pay the extra and enjoy it! [<)]
  6. I collect my 2000 Classic up on Saturday, should I run it on V Power as a matter of course or will standard Shell 95RON be ok? I'm happy to pay the extra if it'll help the running etc etc. Any advice would be great.
  7. After test driving both back to back at the weekend I bought a 2000 Impreza Turbo - I collect on Saturday - can't wait! []
  8. Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with this dealer as I'm going there at the weekend - so far they seem really good. Thanks in advance
  9. I have driven a standard MY05 WRX and a Classic. I loved the rawness of the classic but equally loved the noise and feel of driving the MY05. Living in London I have little call to use my car, so it can go a week or 2 between trips. I just wonder whether a Blobeye would work better with infrequent use rather than an older (higher mileage) Classic? Having a Subaru warranty also helps to keep costs down (if they actually work?)
  10. I can't decide whether to either by a late classic (around 1999, 2000) with FSH around £6k or go all out and buy something along the lines of WRX 300.I average around 4000 miles a year but I need something will always fire on the button. Obviously the insurance and fuel is less on a WRX 300 (i'd get warranty too) and less worries? Will the limited edition factor of a WRX 300 keep the price slightly up? Any advice or comments would be appreciated.
