  1. Can't you get the stickers copied Colin?
  2. Just wanting to draw attention to the SIDC Karting Challenge in case anyone has overlooked it! Check it out!

  4. Is anything ever perfect Gus? I'd say the job on mine was 95% or a little more. Happy enough with mine and the service was fine too. Close to me obviously so that is in their favour.
  5. Mine were done at Forth, you've seen them Colin, £150 for four 17" Linky
  6. Meeting at Larkhall this weekend - I'm gonna take a wee trip down to see what's what. Need to get chatting to cadet parents and chance my arm!!
  7. Ripped from the WSKC site KART CLASSES WSKC - WHERE CHAMPIONS ARE BORN Although we allow most types of kart to practice at WSKC, not every Cadet, Junior and Senior class races here. The classes are listed in order of popularity as follows: Cadets - from 8 to 13 years old Comer Cadet Uses a 60cc sealed 2-stroke Comer engine so engine rebuilds have to be carried out by an approved service agent. This is the class used for the premier championships and is run by most clubs. The engine and carburettor adjustments need to be quite precise so having a competent parent/mechanic is a distinct advantage! Honda Cadet Uses a 4 stroke, GX160 engine which is ideal for beginners. The long life engines are very low-cost, do not have to be sealed, but have to conform to a technical specification. Honda Cadet has a national ABkC championship. WTP Cadet Is a different model of 60cc 2-stroke with the latest B5 engine having an electric push-button start. This is commonly known as TAG - for Touch-and-Go. Like Comers the engines are sealed and have a log-book.
  8. Need to check out the rules for West of Scotland Kart club. Bit different going to indoor track as opposed to proper race kart at Larkhall. If you could report back your findings Phil.
  9. I'm sure it'll still be Cadets Phil, Rotax Max would be a bit mental for beginners! Will need to look into it further.
  10. I've two sons who are 10 and 8. I'd like to give them a try at proper Cadet Karting, preferably at Larkhall. Is there anyone on here who's kid does it or knows someone who does? Need a quick try out before any commitment could be made. Will pay obviously.

  20. I thought you were doing a write up on the Highland Fling there Dale! It's not speed that's the problem - inappropriate speed is the problem - every driver on the road fits this category.

  22. Good video and well done on the win! I noticed you had a GoPro Hero camera on the front bumper at one point. Is the video above also from that camera?
  23. edited for accuracy
  24. Well, due to peer pressure from all the nancy boys on here, I figured I had better drag a cloth over the Scoob before tomorrow to save all the tuts and dirty looks if I contaminated the stand at Knockhill tomorrow! I honestly can't remember the last time I washed one of my cars other than a 3 minute wonder at the local dribble wash. Anyway, for fear of being punished by Colin after all his hard work, I decided I better make at least a half ar$ed effort to clean it like I cared. I've heard so much about detailing and washing cars and to be honest it makes me physically unwell at the thought of the time some guys spend on cleaning their cars! So, I decided I wouldn't use fairy liquid for once and that I would use the two bucket method to stand on to reach the shelf the sponge was on! It's clean now and I'm positive it'll be pi$hing down tomorrow!
