i got the same box a few weeks ago and i also have the decat centre and resonator out as well, have to say it sounds shi7 hot, u will love it. even get some pops now and then. and did i pass scoobyiain a few nights ago just outside harthill? sorry i didnt wave if it was u, just that something went flying about in the back seats so was a wee bit distracted.

i was at the last speed sunday and believe me some of the cars there go like shi7 af a shovel, fastest i saw that day was a p reg purple corsa. got video of it going past me like i was parked

must admit im a bit of a cleaning freak maself[:$] used to use autoglym high gloss polish till last week i tried meguars nxt gen polish, result was fantastic [] much better shine to the car now [H]. just my opinion.

i agree that a clean well looked after classic looks better than a new age, but there is nothing more reassuring than knowing that everytime u turn the ignition key the thing jums to life[] and then gets me to my destination, granted there is a chance it wont but MY03 wrx hasnt failed me yet (touch wood) <---------scratches head. my bro has had 4 classics and always something wrong with this and that and they rattle like and auld tin inside[] Fireproofs on!!!!!

thx guys, defo seems to be DV related, took the small hose of the front of it and got a full turn on the plastic bit the hose connects to, how it managed to come loose i dont know [8-)] still no woosh from the DV but the wailing/whistling sound seems to have almost gone, just a very small wail/whistle now. think my DV is busted? ps, who/what is meerkat?

ok, here's the probs, when driving along in any gear between 2 and 3k revs there is a wailing/whistling sound coming from somewhere either on or off the fun pedal. this has been happening for a few weeks now but yesterday morning was particular loud, any ideas? dunno if this is relevant but i cant hear my dump valve anymore, was never the loudest but gone now[8-)] also got new mid section exhaust (decat and resonator(hope thats wot its called) but when i drive away there is a knocking sound, took it to a garage and they said its hard against the prop shaft bearing [:$]but they couldnt heat the stainless enough to bend it a little, ne1 know a garage or someone who can help? cheers guys.

i have the EBC yellow stuff pads and they are s**t hot when up to proper temp[], not so good when cold though []

no idea m8, im just glad there doesnt seem to be a problem with my engine.[]

just want to let u all know that i changed the oil and filter, got the motul oil as advised, and since then hasnt burned 1 drip of oil.[] doubt it must have been the oil i put in it the 1st change. i used castrol magnex so make of this wot u will.

i would like an answer to this as well, i have pirelli 225/40/18 and i cant find a decent tyre pressure, to soft and it tramlines like f***, to hard and they wear in the middle, HELP!!!

nice car and welcome to the forums. im pretty sure my bro has 1 of those type r thingys[:|] and since he lost his license it is sitiing parked up in his gf driveway, hmmm wondering if i cld bring it 2moro since these seem to cause a bit of a stir [^o)]
