  1. Ehhhhhh! Wrong answer!!!!!
  2. WOW How old are you? 12????
  3. Send Off? Your not getting rid of the car are you??? Not seen you about much either mate... hows trix?
  4. Oh, forgot to say that your going to get the tracker problem with any company owned by RBS... with covers those 3 and a few more... (Direct line, Churchill, Tesco, (and Privilege I think...) few others...)
  5. nah I'd be inclined to agree there, your more than doubling the price for a few extra octane... methanol is WAAAAAAY cheaper... And 60 litres? my car will only take 50... and that's when its really empty...
  6. The key to the expensive bit was right there all along mate...
  7. Hmmm... Yeah not bitter... Much...
  8. Name and Shame!!!! I think that some villages like that would benefit from Traffic Calming measures... (NOT speed bumps though - Putting kinks in the road to force drivers to slow down is one way...)
  9. Have you tried A-plan and Keith Michaels? Since I moved onto the Turbo, they have been the best for me... Direct line had always been good for me also, but they wont insure an impreza without a tracker... oh, wait, not just any tracker... Seems that Tracker retrieve is not good enough... (Which I had fitted when I bought the car...)
  10. All you need to do now, is change the grille, and the Bonnet for them to fit properly... being that the lights are for a facelift model... Not a fan of those lights though front or rear... think they look a bit chavvy... just personal opinion though... no offence meant like...
  11. How much is it though?
  12. hi, Like I just said in another thread, I don't know specifically about new ages, but What I do know is that your car can thin that somethings wrong and then try to save its self from breaking down by reigning back, you'll just notice that it feels flat, it will go, but there wont feel like you have the torque... Like John says, if you can see what your codes are, you'd need a garage or someone with a cable to be able to check your ECU, then reset it... I had similar, car was sluggish, checked my codes, and it turned out the Knock sensor had showed a fault code, the engine saw this and reigned back the engine, safety mode like...may only be that simple...
  13. Another Tidy import... How do they do it...
  14. Never realisd that they still sis the Blobeyes in 06? Must be one of the last...?
  15. LOL! its just one of those things John, I just know to do that... its all experience at the end of the day, your experiance is mostly covered by what youve had to look for on your car... same with me... its all good experience!!
  16. Well then mate, AWD Perth would be your best bet then... I'm sure that Grant will be able to help you out there then mate! just Give him a call and i think that he should be able to tell you your options and what's best for you.
  17. Dont be daft, everyone KNOWS that the fastest cars are RED Oh, and Welcome to the forums!!! Thats a LOVLEY car you have there, looks minted!
  18. yeah john, thats pretty much it... You got it explained better than I did... thats mainly what these mods are about, keeping the car more flat and stable round corners...
  19. I fear John may not have been entirely clear, the light on your dash will not nessicarily light up on your dash if something is amiss... Are you driving a classic? If so, you should check your fault codes (CEL codes) The following link, tells you how to go about checking the codes, print it off and take it to the car with you, and follow the instructions step by step... How to Read Fault Codes on a Classic Impreza Subaru Specific Fault codes, and their meanings... How to reset your ECU If your driving a new age then you need the bit of kit (Cable and software) to check it, then that's when you need a garage... (or someone who has the cable...) Its been mentioned that sometimes some faults will reign in your engine, so it cant do too much damage, but I dont know if you will notice THAT much of a difference... It happened on my car not that long ago, and resetting the ECU seemed to do the trick...
  20. See thats what I was thinking, John, To be honest, My understanding of your dilemma, is that the coilovers should net make a difference to what Size of ARBs you go for... as the differeence should be the same for both setups... (coilover/non-coilover) IE: the ARB size should be the same no matter what suspension you have... Thats just my (badly explained) understanding you do understand....
  21. I was thinking on doing the Droplinks and ARBs front and rear all at the same time... its just the Thickness that I need to know... I was also thinking whether I want to go suspension, or Springs... I think that's something that I'll think more about after I've done the ARB and droplinks...
  22. After all those things that you were saying about him too!!!
  23. John is not wrong about the price, but its not just as an upgrade that those 4 pot calipers are popular with, the standard 4 pots were prone to corroding, but can be refurbished, so that also makes them sought after... Grant at AWD was telling me that he's had folks living in Engurland calling him up looking for them, because they are not always that easy to get a hold of...
  24. but the question thats on my mind is which one, its a given that i was going to fit them, but I really dont know what Size I want... is 22mm going to be enough? is 24mm going to be too much? Do I want the front and rear to be the same size? so many questions...
  25. Hey chap, AFAIK the engines are much the same apart from a few differences, so should fit across ALL models... What you COULD do... is got for a better engine still, say for example, a 2.3 or 2.5... the others can help you on that better than I can, but I would have thought that AWD or Hypertech, could sort that out for you, but then I don't know where you are, or who the best garage for you is...
