  1. Simple minds simple pleasures!!! So is this yet another club spin-off then? SISC - Subaru Impreza SWINGERS Club!!!!
  2. LOL the big block-BUSTER team!!!
  3. The K&N is oiled, and ive just had a look at the Green website, and sure enough, the maintenance bit tells you to oil them... As I was aware, all I knew was muchly what Euan says, that the 99-00 have weak MAF and the oiled filters can break them... Curious... I've only got the standard fitted to my car right enough... I was going to get round to changing it eventually mind...
  4. I've heard a lot of people say that the Green Filters are the way ahead... no one seems to be mentioning them now...
  5. You didn't Kill them did you?
  6. Welcome, nowt wrong with legacys...
  7. Yeah I dropped a 50p coin the other day, hit me on the back of the head when i went down to pick it up...
  8. Cheers, I'm happy with it, although I don't think anyone other than me has seen it yet up here!
  9. to be fair, they are worth their weight in gold them brake thingys.... but yeah, I just wished that it was cheaper...
  10. Unless he was talking about your Pimpin' wagon, but Like I say, the scoob needs to stay!!!
  11. He's kinda got a point there Graeme, you do need to get rid of the BMW
  12. Is it just one of these with fancy spoiler....? (and different colour...)
  13. Yeah I thought that they were more than that... You didn't get it second hand did you? Some of the guys have been talkign about this on other threads and I get the impression that your best to just get a new one as they are REALLY fragile... Glad to hear its sorted though!!!!
  14. Yeah with John there, End of the day mate, thats a lot of money to shell out only to find that its not everything that you expected, or like you say, that it mysteriously disappears... really if something, ANYTHING you think is not right about it, then just don't even consider buying it... Its not worth it for something to go wrong, and like John says there's way better cars out there, plenty of them in fact..
  15. Yeah the scoobypedia article, that's a very good guide on how to do it, just print it off and take it out to the car with you...
  16. don't make you any less of a man you know, I'm just comfortable with my sexuality!!!
  17. Thats great news Jim, I cant wait to see it in the flesh!
  18. most people are!!!
  19. Dont get me wrong, if you want the prodrives your looking at about £1300 new From Subaru (Hope you have your membership handy!)... but you will get them for less second hand mind... The discount, mean that I was looking at 1300 parts only to 1300 fitted... roughly... Think they AP 4 pots may be cheaper, but again, I dont really know the prices for this kind of stuff...
  20. Oh, and I'm sure I remember someone saying something about not buying drilled discs... something about them cracking easily... (which would make sense, the drill holes introducing stress raisers into the material...) but don't quote me on that...
  21. Yeah I'm runnong on newage standard 17"s and they fill the wheels just nicely...
  22. The Litchfield Type 25 has the Porsche Brakes... (think that they are an option extra for that though...) The other end mate, is the Prodrive 330mm conversion, like ive got on my car, or the AP equivalent (still 4-pots), or you then go up again to AP 6-pots...
  23. And in my inevitably FASHionable lateness... Happy Birthday mate.... for however many days ago it was...
  24. Its fairly common for folks to fir the Subaru 4 pots to older cars, even though they never came standard... That you already have the 4 pots, that is like you say kev, Good luck! Oh and Emoe, the really new 4 pot callipers don't have "Subaru" cast into them any more, instead its now a Decal or something like that... I got some new callipers on my car when I bought it from the dealers, and the name was only stuck on... same callipers though...
