Just been into the office, and it was pointed out to me that I'm getting put on a job next week (I got back yesterday) and that the job is likely to last through till September/October... Dont know how the crew changes will work, but I might not even get off till the end... So its looking HIGHLY Unlikely that I'm now going to make the Mcrae gathering... I was going to say to them when I went in that I wanted to have those days clear, but this is a job that I really cant turn down, Saying no would likely be akin to Professional suicide... So that in mind, until I find out what's happening, probably when i get on board, I'll not know till then, but my room might be going spare if anyone needs it... Till then, I'm just chanting the mantra... Aye, I've not been posting on here for ages either, but then thats a lot to do with my work and the millions of things that I seem to have to do when I'm home... But then when I do come in here I always try to get round and be involved in as many discussions as I can, and more importantly, get out to as many meets and events as I can, as thats where the best bit of the SIDC is at! What I do think puts many off coming into here, and joining in, is posts like these, Like Neil just said, these are the reasons that he posts so rarely anymore... and I know theres quite a few other members that you just dont see anymore for the same reasons... As its been said in the past, if you have a criticism of the site then do something about it, make a suggestion, or to put it a better way... PUT UP OR SHUT UP! I seem to recall this being said to Andy though, and look where that got him!!!! p.s. criticism is a good thing when your positive about it, and trying to make it better instead of making derogatory comments.

I;m kinda with John here John, I wouldn't be driving that car ANYWHERE AT ALL till you have at least got new nuts on, as driving with only 2 in the one wheel is asking for trouble, also, driving at 30 like that would be bad enough, but going to 50mph I would have thought in that situation to be akin to suicide... Also, I'm sure that hypertech wouldn't want to do your geo with the car in that condition....? Makes me wonder though, does your studs REALLY need to be changed? can you not clean up the threads? what kind of condition are they in mate? and how did you manage to cross thread that many? I don't know, to me, I just don't think that if its the studs, its going to be JUST the studs... if that makes ANY sense at all...
