  1. After reading this thread I decided to go to GT Tyres in Forres to get my alignment done. I am very happy with the results...and quite surprised at the initial readings. As a few of you know I managed to buckle an alloy the other week at the fife meet so I knew the alignment had been knocked out a little. So anyway as you can see the wheel that got hit was all in the green and the rest were here and there. All straight now. Very impressed with the guy Paul who updated me on the progress of the alignment at each step and also showed a general interest in the car and its modifications etc. Thank You GT tyres in Forres. I would happily recommend them to anyone. Rich

  6. Good point there. I dont use it for that as I'm not brave enough. Best left the way it was set up when mapped. Best place would be built into the dash, mounted in a single din unit or something!
  7. I've got to agree with you there Iain, truly awesome pics Rich
  8. Not necessarily Peter (Fai17) It is there to control the boost, not to display the boost. Displaying the boost is a bonus feature. Taken from flat4online... The AVC-R allows flexible control over virtually every aspect of boost control and adds new innovative functions such as injector pulse monitoring and gear specific boost control. Boost (including peaks) can be had on the defi's Rich
  9. AWD or hypertech will sort you out and keep you happy as both garages get rave reviews. I myself have always used AWD and I'm more than happy to recommend them to you Rich

  19. If it is just the nut then you will get off quite lucky. Worth a try. When you drain the oil, check for shavings of metal (or chunks), thats when it may indicate more than just a slack nut. Hope its just the nut though mate, save you a few pennies Rich
