Yeah, agreed. A while back, someone on here suggested that new drivers should be limited to certain engine sizes just like the motorcycle system. The concern that these guys can get their hands on cars such as the Impreza is not only limited to hurting themselves but also whom ever else they may innocenly take out in a moment such as the one discussed here. I hope they are ok and make a full recovery.

My views, for what they are worth are simple and frank: polishing cars is a waste of time! You bust your a55 for over 4 hours, it looks awesome, 2 days later it buckets with rain etc. and your back to square one. Granted, the reuslts are great and it protects your paint blah blah, but the time investments are huge, not to mention the effort. As for me and my Impreza, we just love driving. Regular hand washes of course and the odd polish are administered in non-freakish and non-fanatical measures.

Thanks Stuart. If I was goign to go further in the future, it will be quite a bit further in the future, so not relaly thinking about that. The TD05 that is for sale is a 20g from a MY02 WRX (20g: what does that mean?) but I have no idea if it is front or top entry. I suppose I had better ask. Thanks again.

Ah yes. I keep forgetting that Standard STI bits are different from standard WRX bits!!!! My bad! I have had an e-mail conversation with AndyF and he says I am good to go with the VF35 and a sports cat! So I am trying to source said parts 2nd hand. I see a TD05 for sale and that was an AndyF recommendation, but I don't know much about these things so I have posted a request for help, So, HEEEEEEELLLLP!!! []

Hi folks, looking for some guidance. I e-mailed Mr Forrester regarding some pre mapping engine upgrades and he suggested upgrading the turbo with either of the two mentioned above.
