  1. Just had a go with one of the small decals.....result was as expected, total roger hunt of it! Anyone know where I can get them fitted to the car?
  2. Stunning car mate, fantastic paint job!
  3. I just bought a set of full decals for my MY99 Turbo Saloon. I am deciding whether to tackle them myself, or get someone to fit them for me. Has anyone fitted them to their car themselves, if so how easy/hard was it? If it is a total pain in the rump and not a good idea to fit if your a clown, then can anyone recommend someone in the Cumbernauld/Glasgow area to fit them?
  4. Cheers guys, couple of options now
  5. Thanks for that bud, will give him a bell
  6. I have a couple of new tyres for my Scoob that I just bought off t'internet, anyone know of anywhere in the Cumbernauld area that will fit them for a decent price?
  7. No probs at all bud
  8. On the note of cameras and speed traps, yes they can be very frustrating, never been caught in a camera, but with the amout of them that are cropping up all the time (in quite silly places too) it's getting harder and harder to avoid them. As you say guys we are just doing a job, a job that I enjoy 90% of the time, but you do see very unpleasent things, and you do come up against plenty of mutants (Especially where I work!!) but we just have to get on with it, at the end of the day that is what we are paid to don, we all knew what we were signing on the dotted line for. Best thing I have ever done! Welsho, didn't want to come out directly and say bud, but hey at least it all went well for you in the end[]
  9. No offence taken at all matey, like a say the attitude shown to Police on this site is very good, sure no one likes a ticket, and there is nothing worse than a little hitler traffic cop, but we aint all like that!
  10. There are probabily loads of us skulking about on here! I didn't really want to say anything about it at first, but the attitude of folk on here is fantastic. Like a say, we are only doing a job at the end of the day, and as in all walks of life, you get decent folk, and idiots.........plus I aint in the traffic, so that must count for something[]
  11. It's basically just going into another department, there are literally hundreds of different jobs in the Police, that's just one of them. You need to apply for a move there, go through interviews etc. There are different areas within the traffic too, i.e crash investigation, stolen car squad stuff like that. Quite a varied department really
  12. lol good man! Even us ordinary beat coppers don't like the traffic!
  13. You just have to be fair to people, treat people with a bit of respect and you get a bit back. It's nice to hear people being more positive about the Police, end of the day we are here to do a job, no need to have an attitude while we do it.
  14. Totally, he said that it is company policy that they don't fit non company parts, a told him that he better have a word with his work mates then! Won't need their services again anyway, canny believe I have never had a go at fitting an exhaust before, even easier than when a put the standard induction system back on! Nanaki, I have fitted a TSL Grp N backbox to mine, going for the more subtle sound!
  15. A few bellends, but you get them everywhere you go!
  16. They aint all bad!!
  17. All sorted, had a go myself, used my uncles ramps, and even had some exhaust putty in the garage too, what a piece of pi*s that was, canny believe a used to pay folk to do that for me!! Nanaki, the exhuast is ready for you tonight if you want it matey?
  18. Anyone know of anywhere in or around Cumbernauld who will stick my new backbox on for me? Have already tried Kwik Fit and they told me to bolt because it;s not their own part???? (Despite the fact they have done it 3 times for me??) I need to get it done ASAP as I am selling my Ninja 2 to someone from here! Your help will is appreciated folks Kev
  19. Very good post, a lot of very valid comments. I am glad to see the reaction you all have towards Scoobydoom as a Police officer, as I am also a cop, and the attitude you have all shown has been fantastic. End of the day we are all enthusiasts and the most important thing when it comes to our enjoyment of these cars is safety. There are a few out there that give Impreza drivers a bad name, but I would say the vast majority of folks on here are very carefull drivers, and leave their aggression for the track, where it should be!
  20. That Audi in the first pic is stunning! Great pics as usual matey[]
  21. I will take £15 woth too matey, I touch goats
  22. Welcome to all the new folk! It's great to see more and more folk joining, long may it continue[]
  23. Welcome bud, enjoy your stay!
  24. Ahhhh, now that would be telling[]
  25. Very common actually, careless driving is not an offence the PF will pursue unless the circumstances are horrendous, or you have ignored previous warnings. And it wasn't the Police that didn't pursue it, it was the PF
