  1. peter, widny use halfords as they will not be able to give you a firm price until they send you a chips away type guy out, so cut out the middle man and get a quote direct from chips away, they will come out to the hoose or shop and give you a free quote or maybe be best to get the full bonnet done
  2. was kinda toying with the idea of getting these for my car too after seeing this car on a gathering video. let me know if you source a supplier & fitter
  3. looking good gus, must be nearly time to sell up defo go for white wheels, well cool on the white car, what about tweeking your graphics to look like this beauty
  4. you are right there gav, bet it was one of the cleanest cars polished bliss have detailed. not be long until you have it in your showroom, come on colin 3 years old now get it traded in, iam sure gav is keen to take your well mint car off you. picts looking good, will need to pop round and see it as it must be cleaner than showroom condition now
  5. Hayward & scott back box would definately give you enough burble without being too much http://bbs.scoobynet.com/private-sale-gene...-weeks-old.html This one on scoobynet only 3 weeks old, worth 150 quid. mark
  6. The only Guarantee is that the paint is thin, Iam sure is says in the paint section of the subaru handbook "Guaranteed till you get oot the shop" As colzo says take it to Ian greives subaru in camelon and get a professional opinion
  7. Popular tyres are toyo t1r's or goodyear eagle F1's; £105 per corner is a good price. These are decent all round tyres semi slicks = Toyo 888 but your looking at £170 - £180 per corner and also 4000 miles If i had the dosh 888 all day long as the grip is amazing, in the dry
  8. Love watching this one, not sure if it's been posted before, straight cut gears..mmmmmm http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=dmJH84FnQa8&...feature=related
  9. here's a link to camskill who sell them as lambda oxygen sensors http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m10b0s2120p14853 not to worry anyway as your aftermarket headers will have the fitment for this sensor your remap should cell fix the other exhaust sensor after the downpipe.
  10. not 100% sure, but i though the manifold sensor / lambda sensor was also an oxygen sensor, but controls fueling as andy f could't fix mine. sure someone will correct me
  11. the lambda O2 sensor is not on your up pipe it is on the headers immediately the other side of the joint to the up pipe. replacing the headers and up pipe will not remove this sensor as stainless / aftermarket headers will have the fitment to reconnect this sensor. also cell fix will not by pass this sensor anyway as andy f could'nt cel fix mine when my sensor was faulty, had to buy a new one at nearly 200 quid Harvey smith is a good choice for headers and up pipe http://www.geocities.com/harveysmith3000/p...ndproducts.html
  12. well done guys and gal, 12 out of 10 for effort again just wish my car was working as gutted that i missed this mark

  15. HKS SSQV, the only dump valve to have on your car
  16. done mine recently and you are best to change the sensor from underneath, i did'nt jack the car up, i just turned the wheels to the right and got in that way. it is a bit fiddly especially as the wire keeps turning when you are tightening the sensor, but fairly easy job. I have a secs monitor which can reset my ecu, so i cleared the fault that way, not sure if it will automatically reset, unless you disconnect the battery for a wee while then that should reset the ecu. mark

  20. Looking good john bet you had a wee sigh of relief when you came to a stop and realised there was no damage
  21. Cheers guys, Not a big improvement on my time, went up in the afternoon and outside temp was up at 21 degrees / intake was showing 45 degrees, so kept bogging down when coming off the line. 60ft was 1.888 1st run was on a very wet track before the sun came out, now that was fun getting off the line, 2.4 60ft and a time of 13.9
  22. Don't think matt black would be a good option, get a 5ltr of matt black from B&Q and paint the car as a tester to see if you like the look before you get the professional job done
  23. How do i get in contact with him /them, Also i was informed that it would have to be from subaru, so do other ones work
  24. John, Oil change is not as straight forward as that, i am no expert but you need to pre fill oil filter before fitting, then i am sure you then disconnect some plug which then allows you to turn engine over without it firing up. sure there is a step by step guide on scoobynet mark
  25. My cell warning light came on the other day and the fault is a P0031, according to this code my HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1) is fooked Is this the Front 4 wire o2 sensor, if so is there a cheaper alternative to subaru's £250 for this sensor
