My bro is in court in 2 weeks for an intermediate diet as he got done doing 67 in a 30 zone by cops at side of road. Now before you all think he was going by a school at 3pm, he was 100 yards from entering a country road and the main built up area was 2 miles behind him and it was 8pm. There was only a few detatched houses for at least the last half mile of the 30 limit. His lawyer has not been alot of help and has told him to plead guilty to dangerous driving which will give him a 1 year ban and a re-sit of his test.[] I told him to get another lawyer, plead not guilty to danderous driving, hopefully careless would be the charge and then it will go to the court date in july. But his lawyer again said that will make matters worst if the final court date finds him guilty of dangerous driving and he could get a longer ban.[:'(] Any advise??

Car booked in on sat morning to get a set of mintex 1144 pads fitted, hopefully these are a good choice. Anybody know if £140 fitted is a reasonable price? Seems okay as iam sure pads are around £100 to buy.

He says it is mint so i have offered £200 total including delivery. If he accepts what is the best way to pay for it, seems as if alot of trust will be required as no doubt he will want dosh before he posts it to me. £200 is alot to risk for the sake of an extra £50 for a brand new one, which will definately get delivered to me!

Was gona replace my prodrive back box with one of these as want a bit more burble. A guy on scoobynet wants 220 quid including delivery from hull, he says it is only weeks old and mint, but still second hand so i think could be bit much considering i can get a brand new one from scoobyworld for 250, though not sure if delivery is extra. Cheers M8, [Y] got my Scooby membership pack in the post today and will put SIDC stickers on tonight.

Got my good lady's saxo done at Advanced Auto Tint in glasgow, excellent job and did not remove any windows. They said the new law is that you can go as dark as you like on rear passenger windows and rear screen, but NO tint at all is allowed on the front driver & passenger windows. However they put a very light tint in the front for me and said at worst the cops would tell me to remove it, but any darker on the front and it is 3 points and 60 quid!!! All i can say is there is a lot of cars out there breaking the law.

Looks like a great site, does it cost to subscribe? If only it could tell you what garages have optimax!! I had to drive very carefully again today on way to work via a few shell garages and had to settle for BP super unleaded in Milingavie and was over a quid a litre!
