Well a few weeks ago I managed to get myself the bargain of the century and got myself a set of kw variant 3 coilovers. Granted they were secondhand but were in great condition. We fitted them last Sunday and with a few tweaks to ride height they are now sitting good. Before Initial level at rear Final level Just need to bed them in properly but so far I am impressed with ride quality as it is not too stiff. Chris

Not a big fan of the hatch and regardless of model if you are going to mod it then is it maybe not better holding off for an Sti? It is common for people to get a wrx then spend a lot of money on it and then regret not buying a Sti. There are loads if hawks and blobs and bugs Sti that you could get for similar money and also they will have had the money spent on them. As for the forum well there is only a few of us left on here now that post regularly due to various reasons. Most of the technical guys have gone. Spoke to a friend and there should be a stamp in the service book if the remap has been done if that helps Chris

5 speed box is prone to breaking at increased power levels.

I think the down pipe and second cat sections are different on blobeyes and hawkeyes but from second cat back they are the same but don't quote me on that.
