  1. How is this progressing? Are we holding a club stand? Chris
  2. Good show guys. Sidc does it again
  3. Am sure someone will recommend somewhere to go or give you loan of a cat etc.
  4. Gus now how could I miss a cracking opportunity to post up a wee vid of one of the more famous Scottish members of the sidc. Took me ages to find mind you. Thought I was never going to find it.
  5. Hi imy, good to see you posting but sad to see you are selling the car. Are you moving away completely from Subaru ownership? Chris
  6. As vice chairman now phil I put it to you that there should be a new position called spammer. I am sure someone can come up with the relevant avatar. There are a few people that could take up the posts. Chris
  7. My alloys could be doing with this type of home improvement type work
  8. You can knock a couple of years off me due to inactivity lol. Gordon I will bring the club outfit on Wednesday night for you
  9. Ok guys after hearing about problems on the fling and reading other threads with similar issues the question I have is when is it time to start thinking about replacing some of the hoses in the engine bay such as radiator hose? My car is 9 years old with 45k on the clock. Chris
  10. The tv was on in the background last night and the end of hollyoaks the guy introducing the next programme compared something in it to being worse than a fart in a jacuzzi. Think it was made in chelsea or a program like that he was talking about. I nearly fell off my seat laughing. I never expected to hear that on tv when describing a programme and how bad is a fart in a jacuzzi lol Chris
  11. Ok people. Part of my aim of this post was to find what people really used the forum part of the website for. If you read what I won't post all I wasn't going to post was spam threads. Now if you take time to read the responses there are mixed reasons for why people use the forum. Some prefer quiet ones with few posts but what posts there are relate to the forum topic and others like banter and spam etc and a busy forum site. I did what I did to find out the real reasons why people use the forum and if I just asked the question straight the info probably wouldn't have been as good. It also let's you see how the people on here care about each other which is one thing that the sidc can take pride in. We seem to have most of the right areas on the exisiting site but they probably just don't get used properly. We will never please everyone. If you haven't read all the responses then take time to read them and am sure you to can learn a lot. Chris
  12. Come on people get the cobwebs blown off the car and go along to the meet. Good excuse to give the car a wash and a wee run then another wash
  13. I touch goats mate. Chris
  14. Hey there. Don't take my post seriously. It is all just banter at the end of the day. Most of the posts telling me I post too much are from people I know and are taking the piss. They will soon become the top 20 posters. Don't leave the forum because of this. It has got a lot better of late and people are getting in better.

    Chris

  15. Due to the amount of posts regarding the number of posts I make on here I will now not be posting any new threads or replying to threads unless it is to welcome a new member or to respond to any events or if there is posts about club related things that I have views on or if I have a technical question I need help with. Maverick out
  16. Ok so what is the best moment and your worst moment in your Subaru ownership? For me the worst moment was selling my hawkeye. Although only modestly tweaked it was the business. It saw the Colin McRae memorial run and a few support vehicle runs to crail. The best moment was experiencing what the car was capable of after andy f worked his magic. I couldn't believe the difference and it put a big smile on my face. Chris
  17. Knockhill also do tuition in your own car. It is £125 for an hours worth of tuition in your own car. This is only available weekdays. Check out their website for full details. I know a few people from on here have done this. Alternatively do one of the SIDC trackdays and get track time and tuition for roughly the same price and that is for half a day also. Chris
  18. The question is, is this the first time you have driven it since buying though lol
  19. Well yesterday's walk took us up conic hill at Drymen. Went a wee but further than had planned but was a nice day so worth it. Couldn't believe how decimated the forest at Drymen looks like.
  20. Well first of all a wee guy came out to fill up my car to which I kindly declined. Wee guy went straight back in shop and ignored other customers lol. Then I just paid for the fuel and the guy behind counter gave me the vouchers without asking. Oh did I say vouchers erm I mean I only got one Chris

  23. Ok I have heard of car bras but this is taking it too far lol
  24. Filled up with this at hillington and got a free voucher for 10p off per litre on my next fill.
