AlanG Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 At least everyones okay, that's the main thing. Now you've got to hope you get a decent payout for the car....
martin_allen Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 certainly looks preggers. proper fatty then. take it police didn't turn up then? hope it goes quickly through the insurance. i got hit by a coach last year that was on the wrong side of the road on a blind bend. they are fighting it though because they contacted my witnesses last week - crash was in december! good luck glad everyon seems ok. 5t.
jamesm Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Sorry to here mate, at least everyone was ok. The photos certainly show her to be well over on your side despite there being no centre line marked. Hopefully you have a decent insurance company, get it sorted and get back in a Scooby before too long.
boris b Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Shame about the car mate , but as previously said , at least no one was seriously injured by her dodgy driving. I'm sure the insurance will get sorted out quick . They usually do when there are good photos to back up the story, did she admit fault at the scene by the way ? I don't think she will be able to talk her way out of that one . Hope you get better soon. Kit
Chapman81 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Sad to see a P1 in that state. What the hell was she thinking? Wrong side of the road on a blind corner ! Well at least nobody was injured and hope it gets settled soon. Cheers, Stewart
uRaBu5 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Shaun Looks a very sore one, in more ways than one! A very sad sight to see indeed. Glad all injuries are only minor, except the car. Devastating though it is and the time and effort you put in looking after your car – in the long run they are only metal. Hope all gets sorted out insurance wise and you get what you deserve, for what looked like an immaculate P1. Derek
fai17 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Sad news indeed hope it gets sorted by the insurance company quickly.
jcscoob Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Whaaaaaaaaaa , ffs , [] Thats totaly p!sh mate sad to see a P1 in such a state [] Hope it all works out ok for ya.
Alan-G Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Just picked up on this one Shaun. To be honest, it could have been very much worse than what the pictures show. What a mess. What a shame. No "win win" situation here - only a pain in the f******* arse. Christ, drive on the correct side of the road please (not aimed at you Shaun) Can you keep us updated mate as this could help a few others that are hit by nutters.
phil Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Sorry to hear of your woes As for the members who are resorting to insults please refrain
david_taylor Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Thats terrible news mate. Sorry to see that, but at least all are okay. Think she will be getting 100% of the blame there anyway! Dave
nanaki Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Not a lot can be said other than what has been really. Best of luck getting it all sorted out mate.
shaun_odonnell Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 Cheers again guys for the kind words. Phoned the insurance company today to get an update, they are still waiting for the inspection report, will probably hear back from them on Tuesday. Have posted the pictures to the insurance company for my own peace of mind, they would normally just base their decision on the Police's accident report, but anything I do to help is always an advantage. My insurance broker is A-Plan and they are doing a top notch job for me and come highly recommended. I'll keep you all posted on the events happen. Thanks again, Shaun.
Ruby The Scooby Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 [:'(]Aw Shaun - I am absolutely devastated for you. Poor wee gorgeous P1 - i know how much TLC you gave it. See you had the big scoop on too.[:'(] Glad you're ok.
spooks Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Ouch, just to add as everyone has said previously glad all are OK and good luck with insurance. Been in one accident and I know how sore I was after it, and how depressed for that matter, good to see ya looking on the bright side mate. Let us know how it goes. Scott
nkwrx Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 As everyone else is mate I'm totally gutted for you. The sublime written off by the ridiculous[:@]
kennyf Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Gutted for you , car looked mint. Surely she should be done with careless driving if not dangerous , it was just luck it wasn't nastier. Hope you get sorted soon and find yourself a car that'll you enjoy as much as the P1.
steven_harvey Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Oh no M8, sorry to see your car wounded by a Corsa. Keep smiling!
weatherman22 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Damn I winced when I passed your car going the other way on a flatbed on the A80 at Cumbernauld on Friday - I take it that was yours and not another one...
Double Zero Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Dont think that would be shauns car mate the accident happened early in the week and as far as i know its at burgoynes. Stevie
weatherman22 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 looked just the same as in photos. maybe off to get inspected/scrapped? Or has another P1 or 22B come to grief.....
shaun_odonnell Posted May 27, 2007 Author Posted May 27, 2007 Damn I winced when I passed your car going the other way on a flatbed on the A80 at Cumbernauld on Friday - I take it that was yours and not another one... Yeah, that was mine. It was being collected from Burgoynes to be taken and inspected.
