shescooby
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> SCOOBY BALL 2007 Saturday 29th September Eynsham Hall Oxfordshire Get your glad rags on the infamous SIDC Scooby Ball is back. This year it will be held at the end of the show season on Saturday 29th September 2007 at the stunning "Eynsham Hall" in Oxfordshire. The costs of the tickets are £35.00 each and the usual attire of Black Tie for the men will be the order of the night. You will be guaranteed a fantastic night with your fellow Scooby enthusiasts. Eynsham Hall is a fine Jacobean style mansion house with terraced gardens all set in 30 acres of landscaped gardens and parklands. The Hall is easily accessible from the M40/A34 and A40 in Oxfordshire and is situated off the A4095 between Witney and Bladon at North Leigh. Car Parking is available for up to 180 cars, security cameras and lighting is also placed around the grounds. 50 rooms have been reserved at the attached Court and Lodge for those who wish to stay. There may also be a few deluxe rooms available in the house for those who book early. We have managed to negotiate a discounted rate of £80.00 for a Double/Twin room and £60.00 for a Single room. These both come with a Full English Buffet Breakfast to be held in the House between 8am and 10.30am. If you do choose to stay at Eynsham Hall you will have full use of all their leisure facilities including the Tennis & Squash courts, Mini Gym, Heated indoor swimming pool and Sauna all free of charge. As such, a suggestion would be to arrive early afternoon on the Saturday where Bar Snacks and drinks will be available as will all the above sports facilities. Treat yourself, book your accommodation and make a mini weekend of it. There are also many other things to do around the Oxfordshire area while you're there including <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />BlenheimPalace (approx 4 miles away), CotswoldWildlifePark at Burford, and of course for those who love to shop, Bicester Village Retail Outlet is also nearby. The meal will consist of three courses including coffee. A Vegetarian Option will also be available to those who request it. I will be sending out menus nearer the time to those attending. We have organised a Private bar which will remain open until approx 12.30am after which a residents only bar will continue serving as long as you continue drinking!! In addition to all the fun, dancing, eating and drinking, we will hopefully be holding a Raffle. Tickets will be available shortly in the SIDC shop for those happy to book online. For those who wish to pay by cheque please contact me karyn@sidc.co.uk and I will send a booking form. Accommodation should be booked directly with Eynsham Hall quoting “SIDC” to receive the discounted rate. Eynsham Hall, North Leigh, Witney, Oxfordshire OX29 6PN, Tele 01993885228 This is going to be a great end to a great show season so don’t delay and miss out on the limited number of available tickets (100) to what is going to be a superb event in the truly breathtaking setting of "Eynsham Hall" Very many thanks and I look forward to seeing you all there.
