A few of us got together today and presented a polo shirt signed by the Aberdeen FC squad to a young disabled lad who has a great passion for AFC and also our chariots of choice. The look on the lads face when we presented it to him made the day totally worthwhile. A special mention to Iain and Alison and Jamis and family for makin the trip up, thanks muchly folks.

That was only one person, I can only imagine how good the Santa Cruise lads and lasses feel when they see the kids faces when they deliver their presents, I think it goes without saying, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FOLKS, you are all diamonds.

Well done everyone. Looks like you had better weather up there than we did.

Where's everyone looking on the bottom picture though?

Craig thought it would be a good idea to streak, Stephen [:D]

As for the weather, the wind had dropped to around 60mph by that point and the rain had gone back to almost vertical [:D]

Just back from aberdeen, away to thaw myself out as it was freezing today. The look on the young lads face when he got the first top was good but when he got the signed one well that was even better.

Maybe a sheep appeared just out of shot [:D]

Being serious, it doesn't matter if you help one or a hundred. It's about making a difference and you did just that. Well done thumbup.gif

Nice one guys!  [y]

Sorry I couldn't make it, as I was in glasgow anyways, it made more sense to go to the Santa Cruise instead... meant that I could see more people whilst I was down here...  Glad to see that the boy had a good time....  I was one of 4 that went into the ward this afternoon dishing out the toys, and seeing the looks on some of the faces was just awsome....  [:D]  Defo know what you mean there....  [y]

Na - If a sheep had appeared you would have seen all the wellies and velcro gloves coming out. [:D]
