Just to let everyone know.

this morning Ken Fortune (ken275) passed away.

I worked beside Ken for 7 years and am going to miss him.

It was unexpected.  I saw him on sunday and got emails from him yesterday and today he is no longer alive.

As I did not know Ken I did some research on SN to find out more about him........Some of his posts had me in absolute hysterics..........a very witty original fellow..... In conclusion, having never met him it sounds like he was a real hoot.

This sudden news has made me think that at the next meet I will make an even bigger effort to meet n' greet the people I have never met...

Feeling a bit down after hearing this.... next time I turn the key to my Scoob I'll be thinking of him and his amusing posts...

Very sad news [:o]

i am going to arrange some flowers tomorrow.

I will put the SIDC name on it.

I'll organise a collection to help pay for them at Thursday nights Glasgow area meet/run.

I now have a beer in one hand and would like to propse a toast to Ken.

He was a great guy and a true friend.

The past year has had its ups and downs for him but he managed to get through them and has now moved on to a better place.

To Ken

I'll drink to that!!!

I had a great day away fishing with Ken recently and he was indeed a great guy, genuine and very generous.

Cheers!
