To be honest, Phil, I think there's still a tendency by some to take this forum a little too seriously (I'm not saying you personally). Frankly, I think it's found the right sort of level as a balance between serious discusion and a bit of fun. Few people seem to get offended by anything here because quite honestly, I see nothing to get offended about. Obviously we have to maintain some standards and a "hard porn" image, for example, would probably be unacceptable, but FMS's is harmless. People tend to change them fairly frequently anyway of their own volition, and if you felt it was offensive, it might have been better to have said nothing and not try and involve other members. Can I also say this while we're on the subject? I don't think it's anyone's job to lecture about "muppetising" the forum either. When you see what goes on at Scoobynet (and you would know better than me), this self regulates pretty well, and anything here pales in to relative insignificance. The odd mad string of "one worders" to increase numbers of postings happens so infrequently, I think it's best ignored. I've done it (and got a boll*cking) like a naughty schoolboy, for heaven's sake (it must have increased my post total by all of 1%), but I've also provided a lot of helpful information to people as well, it's all about cheques and balances. Owning a Scooby and posting at this forum's about a bit of fun shared by (usually) like-minded people. Until "General Discussion" came along, pressured in to existence by the likes of myself and Madman (plus a few others), this forum was a bit stuffy to say the least. Witness, we have 2600 people registered and you're the only one making a complaint about someone,'s icon. If you want me to be totally honest, Phil, yes, I think you do need to get a life. Sorry! I think self regulation is important and it is knowing about what is exceptable to the rest of the community and what is not. I my opinion this was fine, if the ladies want some muscle clad hunk as their icon then thats fine as well.
