  1. May come in to a few quid at the end of the year and could be looking at either upgrading my present Classic or buying new. Buying new will give me a 6 speed gearbox and a few other bells and whistles, but I could probably get my engine / gearbox refurbished and add upgraded brakes, suspension and a few exterior "cosmetics". Could have about £5,000 to spend. Trouble is, in nearly every aspect, I quite like my Classic. Any thoughts? Cheers, Graham
  2. Unfortunately, I missed a broadcast on LBC radio yesterday where some sort of discussion singled out the Scooby as being the "ultimate mid-life crisis" purchase for men. Oh, well, I'm 57 and beyond "mid-life", so that lets me off then. Graham
  3. Thanks, mate! << I missed you ..... everytime I wanted to take the piss out of Arsenal. >> There was me thinking it was good to be back..............
  4. Realising there used to be some major IT boffins posting on here, has anyone heard of "Trojan Agent EK"? Despite having kept Norton 2003 fully up to date, etc, and having all the latest Windows updates and having Zone Alarm, I still got this virus, which then promptly shut down the firewall, my AV software and all my spyware detectors. What's more, it prevented me from going on to most AV websites for help. It did allow me to go to Avast, however, but that failed to detect it. I managed to install AVG 7.0 (free version) from a friend's CD, this both found and got rid of the virus (and identified it, as above). I went in to the host files and re-enabled access to all the previously blocked websites and started again. However, Norton remains disabled (despite AVG deleting all the known Trojan processes, as confirmed by "HiJack This"). Anyway, good riddance to Norton and welcome back AVG. If I now try to uninstall Norton, Windows won't fully start and so I have to find a "system restore point" in safe mode and begin all over again. Unlike some of these Trojans, it, at least, didn't disable 'configsys' or 'regedit' and I don't believe it infected my systemviaE-mail. Sorry to get long and technical, but this thing's really p*ssing me off! Help!
  5. Whoops! What a t*sser! Just seen Caz's post, I'll look at that and then scream for help if it doesn't work

I shan't forget Kent Scoobies either!!
