Kenny.S Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Another big thumbs up Carl ! Two pot rear calipers too, here's me thinking it was only coupes that had 180 rear diffs? Kenny
ScoobyAndy Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Very nice motor Carl [] Your a lucky guy getting a cracking car just in time to play in all that snow.
Carl Davey Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 Lol Scott. [] I was as surprised as you are Kenny. I personally thought the V4 Coupe was the first (IIRC GrantyBoy on here has them on his) but they must've fitted them to the STi RA's of that year also? It made for a pleasant surprise all the same. [] As much fun as the snow is i'd really rather it was dry as the car handles so much better than my old UK that i'd rather be experiencing that right now. Anyway, it's tucked up in the garage for the next fortnight as i have to go do the job that pays for such extravagances. [H]
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Welcome back to the Scooby fraternity brother ! Nice looking chariot [] Can we expect to see you and the wagon next Tuesday night @ the ABZ meet ? Rgds Cal
WUZ Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Another big thumbs up Carl ! Two pot rear calipers too, here's me thinking it was only coupes that had 180 rear diffs? Kenny No M8, the 4-door RA's ran them as well after October 1997. Russell ps - good to see you back in the fold Carl. We'll need to talk about some billet rails for "Godzuky" soon (plus I need to get some fuel rail adaptor off of you......when you away?)
Carl Davey Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 The offshore rota means the ABZ meets are awkward right now Cal. It shuffles round towards the end of the year though so will hopefully make an appearance before too long. [] I'm back on the 15th Russ, you away again before then?
Grovit Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Nice looking car Carl - judging from the spec I'd imagine it's a bit of a weapon !!!
dougster Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Carl.................................lucky sod.............my fav colour as well.!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]
sgscoobysti Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 very nice Carl another fridge. Nice to see you are back in a scooby. Going to get rid of mine after 5 1/2 years of ownership. Will defo be getting another. Shaun Red mica My00
the squiggle Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Stunning, bloody stunning. You only need to fart near a STI manifold and the paint does a runner!!! I was following your SN thread on distance and checking the car out. Glad it was turned out to be a cracker!!! Grant
4Hero Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Nice motor mate, looks as if it was well worth the trip [y]
Carl Davey Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 It's my favourite colour too Doug. [] Shaun, it's already been christened as The Fridge V2! Pleased to hear yours is still going well after so long. [H] I've a freshly painted manifold ready to go on Grant, the test will be how long the paint stays on that one lol! Thanks all, i feel at home again now. []
the squiggle Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 As i said, just dont fart near it and it will be fine. Gonna send some of the snow south and slightly west when you are finished with it. Very dissappointed with Atlantic Gulf Stream this year. Grant.
