Just Filled up with Vpower at Shell Garage on Aderson Drive. All pumps ok. Shaun

I bought my STI from Brian. Did seem a bit grumpy when I first turned up but changed when I made it clear I was serious in buying a car of him. Car I bought was in imaculate condition inside and out. Did seem a bit on the pricey side but it was a low milage example for the age. The car was fully serviced prior to pick up including new brake pads all round (brembos) Brake discs skimmed to get rid of any scores and a brand new windsrcreen as the old one had a chip. Brian knows his stuff with regard to Scoobies and I know of guys local to me who are happy with the standard of service. Shaun

Just filled up my car in Inverurie from empty right to the brim with the wrong petrol. Wife had my head full of slamming doors and i filled up with normal unleaded and not the 97 RON stuff I normaly use. On the way to Aberdeen car sudenly felt flat over 4000rpm. It dawned on me and after a check of my reciept confirmed i had chucked in the 95 ron stuff. I think it should be ok if i take it easy but do you have to do the ECU reset thingy like on my old MY00 Turbo when I go back to super unleaded. Shaun

Cheers for that. I thought that might be the case. The last time I was over the West Coast I had the old scoob so normal unleaded was fine. Octane Booster it is then. Shaun

Hi chaps I am heading across to the Isle of Lewis next month in the scoob. I know I can get Super Unleaded in Inverness. Just want to know if I can get it in Ullapool before the crossing or do the garages in Stornoway have SUL. Is this a general recall on the Bug Eye STI ? I have one and was not aware there was a problem with the rear shocks. Shaun
