Rice Rocket Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=491387 must be a chav idol too! [] Ricey
the squiggle Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Well i agree with Moonloops, Millwrx, Davyboy, Evonorth, ToneLoc, Scoobydooooo, Swen6 and DrEaM I suppose having 3 guages located in the front bumper is a new one. Grant
p1ggm Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 not sure about it, has some nice bits thou, and looks like its had a lot of money thrown at it rice going by your sig is yours the silver bugeye?? it looks good in the mag
G.Mac Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 It's not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the hard work thats gone into the car. At the end of the day the only person that has to like it is the owner. All the same its a very tidy motor Graeme
scoobymadburd Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 WOW Car looks stunning like the idea of the gauges in the bumper very different excellent car!!! Claire
chrissy Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 i think thats stunning, well done to the guy for doing things alot different from every1 else n putting up with all the negative comments thrown at him which IMO is uncalled for! dunno y he is being classed a chav for that car, its probably had more spent on it that most people would spend on a complete car haha
ally-b Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I think that is a waste of a good car [+o(] Admittedly the colour is 'different' , but Wheels look hidious . Plastic body kit and black/carbon looks cheap and , well , plastic. Boot is ruined . Re-upholstered seats in white look tarty . Bumper mounted gauges are just plain daft [:^)] does he use a mirror on a stick to read them [*-)] Engine bay and FMIC look OK though . Otherwise I think it looks like the result of a Supermarket-sweep in Halfords [] Each to their own I 'spose - the bloke probably doesn't like the look of my car - that is what makes us all individuals at the end of the day . Just MHO, Al.
zeolite Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 What ally-b said! How to destroy the handling and character of a sporting saloon in one fell swoop.
sharon_mccall Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 PMSL @ ally-b I agree - it doesn't do anything for me.[:|] But i respect that the guy has put a lot of thought in to his motor, and it seems to be a hit with most people.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I t is certainly different, some of it i don't like but not all of it
paul_honthy Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 IMHO its totally killed that bit of magic that the classic has, but then again life would be boring if we all had same taste.[:|]
jamie_wood Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Its your for only £6500 [] http://http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/64303.htm
RA Dunk Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 tidy car but a wee bit too much "pimp my ride" look for me
fai17 Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 sorry that it's the wrong make up ofor a classic scoob. not to my oriental taste.
G.T. Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 [+o(] mingin just my opinion though , each to their own and all that
bigbadboab Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/64303.htm
RA Dunk Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 i do like the look of the engine bay though []
mazheriqbal_mohammed Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I quite like it, got some nice styling ideas going on!! Like the coulour and the pinted/carbon look to the bonnet, Classic scoobies all the way Not too sure if i am keen on the guages on the front bumper but at least the fella is trying something new with his design and so long as he is hapy that is the main thing . Definately a Chav Idol and a half!
