Marky-San Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Bloody lovely mate! You always make your car look well fresh. Wheels, silver rim and black inners - hmmm.... so I must have made an impact all those years ago then?
john_robertson Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Very nice. Take it I am missing something here what happened to the RA? John.
drb5 Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 Lol at Mark. Thanks guy's. NTS, i decided to get something a bit comfier to live with. Ceratin things with the RA were good and some not so good. Overall this is a much nicer car to have.
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Looking exceedingly sweet !! Those alloys give me a nudger .........
st3ph3n Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Never been entirely convinved about alloys with polished lips. UNTIL I saw some in action and I was converted there and then. Looks good indeed.
Ken 275 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Epic Dave and well done - no wonder you've been quiet for so long! Beautiful car. Where's the old bus now? Ken
drb5 Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 Thanks Ken. How's you? Old bus is somewhere in the Toon. Gonna be getting used for a daily driver and sprints, etc. Nice while i had it.
Ken 275 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Stay well mate. Which exhaust are you running, just so I can listen out for you? K.
JohnSt Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 << Thanks Ken. How's you? Old bus is somewhere in the Toon. Gonna be getting used for a daily driver and sprints, etc. Nice while i had it. >> It won't be a daily driver, but it will be going "Up an' doon Doune" (P.S. it's hiding in Hyndland)
RS Grant Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 As I think I've said before..... it looks awesome Dave!! 1st dibs when you come to sell (genuinely). Cheers, Grant
dave_morgan Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Looking good Dave. We should try the 'old-school' meet again so we can see it in the flesh! Any clues to the numbers you were getting at Dastek?
fai17 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Looking real sweet m8. When are we going to see it on KH?
sma01 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 very nice mate, wheels look mint also.... scott
drb5 Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 Thanks peeps. Good idea Dave. I might get there this time!! It's only half mapped at the moment. Had a misfire and boost creeping amongst a couple other issues, so i THINK it's delt with now. Yup, quiet exhaust, but it is full Revolution. It has an extra silencer in it, which i might take out if i get a section to fit in. Just too quiet me thinks. Sorry John. Thought he was using it to work too. Indeed they are 18's and it won't be going on KH, Peter. Keeping this one as it is, hopefully.
fai17 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Can i come up to see your car if i am passing your way But probably not in the distant future tho
wilky Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Dave, Very nice and you are quite within your right to be proud of it. I am glad you didnt have too much trouble with the engine Do you still need the neutral gear spring? I am still waiting for them to arrive. Callum W
harvey_smith Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Car is looking good Dave. Got your PM but I cannot PM back. No problem mate. I just assumed you were hard at it. We had a good day, 25 runners including two we took on spec on the morning. Figures were low compared to previous on same rollers and elsewhere. As it was organised on S/Net I have posted the results there in "Northern" I have another one planned, provisionally for 08 April so keep an eye out for a post starting this weekend coming. I can put a link on here if you want.
colin_ross Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Nice pics Dave, but..........they don't do it justice. Had the pleasure of seeing this car in the flesh on Sunday and it is sweeet! Only the shady person in the drivers seat lets it down.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 << Only the shady person in the drivers seat lets it down. >> Sounds about right.........was he wearing a wolly bunnet and a boiler suit??
colin_ross Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Not this time. It was his fonzie jacket and pimping trousers.
drb5 Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 No worries Petere, any time. Callum, too much trouble with the engine?!? LOL!! It's still giving me grief the now. And yer i still need the neutral gear spring, but as i said before, i'm in no hurries. Thanks Harvey. Sounds like a good day, as i've read some of the thread this morning. Sounds as though the WRX is going to plan? Will defo keep a look out for the next one. Stuff you Andy, no boiler suit IN SIGHT!!!!! I did consider taking it with me, but the missus didn't look to happy when i suggested it. And cheers Colin, for that lovely comment.....about me.
colin_ross Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Don't mention it Dave, at least I never said anything about your hair.
