col666 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I know this has been done to death and have already done a search but still cant find what I need! Is there any insurance companies that dont insist on a Tracker fitted? I got a quote from elephant and they never asked(online, not over phone). What about Keith Michael? Cheers, Col.
Gumball Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 elephant you dont need a tracker fitted. i got one fitted to my wrx and they said "thats nice, you didnt need to do that" pay in one go and get a massive discount

Massivez Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 oops forgot to mention they dont ask you about a tracker....Graeme
road warrior Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Personally I'd avoid NU at all costs. Had a claim with them 2 years ago when rolled my Golf, was the only car involved, and it still took 3 (yes three) months before I got anything out of them. No one seemed to have a clue what the hell was going on and I ended up doing most of the donkey work myself, just to get things moving. Put me off dealing with anyone who has a call centre Overseas.
ormiboy Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 keith michael, well worth a call paul moulson is a good lad so ask for him. good luck
gus the bus Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I'm with admiral and they didn't ask for a tracker although I have one! Admiral said "if your car gets nicked do you really want it back!!!!" Gus
sharon_mccall Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I have tried every insurer under the sun (admiral, aa, rac, keith michaels, churchill, etc etc) and the cheapest for me is from Tesco - a whopping £136 cheaper then my current insurer at only £212 fully comp with 5 years no claims bonus. The dearest quote was £795.............hahahahahahahaha
