dougster Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Sad news indeed. Still some speculation on some of the forums and no 'official' news as yet.
zeolite Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 That is devastating news. Cut down in his prime. One minute you are on top of the world and the next... That has upset me.
ed-209 Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 So so sad if the info coming in is correct. Thoughts with his family. Check the bbc and sky channels and web no reports as yet. Can only hope its just a mistake.
NightOwl Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Bloody Hell. I can't believe that. Not a huge rally follower and only knew that his problem stopped him racing, but I thought he was getting better. Shocking news.
oobster Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Sorry to hear that, if the news is indeed accurate. Seen a post on http://www.britishrally.com/forum2/forum_p...N=1&FID=31&PR=3 but that was nearly 2 hours ago - and still there is nothing on sky or bbc news sites. So fingers crossed it's some terrible mistake

zeolite Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 You can leave a message here memorial I noticed on the news that the family have asked for privacy and for donations to cancer research. Wouldn't that make a good and relevant cause for scottishscooby charity events?
sharon_mccall Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 << You can leave a message here memorial I noticed on the news that the family have asked for privacy and for donations to cancer research. Wouldn't that make a good and relevant cause for scottishscooby charity events? >> Yes i agree, a worthy and very relevant cause for us. Cancer is awful - i lost my Mum to it when i was 9.
