Hi Peter, nice to talk to you to, sorry it was a bit brief but I had a few issues at the time ( car missing and overheating), I saw you chatted with Arch a bit longer though.

I also intended 'doing' York today with the wife and wee one but logisticaly it wouldn't have worked.

Yep that would have been me if the car was inside the pit area, we was mostly with the lads running the GTIR's, who was the first GTIR in the world to get into the 10's but then the alternator belt came off so that was the end of his day (red one)

Was a really good day up at Crail, stayed dry all day long until towards the very end when it started to rain a wee bit.. thats me dipped into the 12's and just outside the Top 10 Newage list. Hopefully be able to improve that a wee bit when I eventually give the car a couple of mods and a re-map from Mr Forrest, but pretty chuffed considering its pretty much the way it came from the factory!! [H]

Is kenny not the guy with the white version 2 sti? running an inverted inlet manifold for the front mount?

Up for it peter but maybe be a wee while as thinking of re doing my whole set up!! But will be a wee while as i'm still unsure which way to go with it!!! All i know is i have a figure in my head i want to get to!!! Along with some methanol!!!

10.81 against Martin Willox of Peterhead, 0-60ft was 1.8, did a 1.6 on next (only other 1/4 run) but car was overheating/missing. So a bit of time to be had I think. That makes five 1/4 mile attempts now, three at TOTB last year and two this year.

ok this is going to be a bit more difficult than i thought. the new forum dosn't understand tab at all and hates more than a few spaces in a row. makes it a nightmare to format (i even tried typing it out in code tags but that failed miserably as well)

I think we need to speak to andy and see what we can come up with.

Duncan I belive his family have a couple of garages round there, think one used to be a VX dealeship.

Nice lad, he's been doing a few hills and sprints in the 'highland' championship this year, hence I knew him before TOTB. Really nice car.
