  1. As a Bugeye wrx owner I can tell you that after a short time the bug bites, you will want it to look better, UK300 is nice as standard but suspension changes are needed, then you want more power so you look for sti upgrades, Cut the story short best off to start with an sti if you have the slightest thought of any modification. It will help a lot in the future for mods etc.. Look out for a prodrive edition bugeye as they seem sweet..
  2. You can fit the defi style clocks (2005 STI) into the wrx it's a bit fiddly but can be done..
  3. Nice cars there RS looks mean, I think it would be a tough choice between a JDM Spec c and an RS,
  4. nice work there Jim, the power sounds like it means business.. though I prefer the fish and chips from that shop just near Andys place not sure if it still there.
  5. those lines looked tatty indeed good to hear your getting them sorted is this going to be a monster build Jim?
  6. Nice work Andy almost there, how come no NOS used?
  7. Awsome build Peter (solberg), think i will br around for another spin in the car.. did Meerkat do the coatin themselves?
  8. Did you notice any diff in oil temps? or pressure? if you have gauges?
  9. Torque and BHP will be one factor the rest will depend on your 60ft, gearing, driver (+ weight), cars weight, classic or newage, track, wind etc etc... but am sure a 350bhp classic would be able to crack the 12sec mark HI Jac thats some good time for a newage am guessing your running over 500 horses, well done to you and Jim..
  10. pics look nice need to get mine fitted soon,
  11. gutted for you Jim keep the chin up and come back bigger and better..
  12. have you looked at the UK300 spoiler? I would think sti or uk 300 one..
  13. excellent times you got there, well done 11.08 thats quick..
  14. car looks spot on well nice, well done on the time too, can't wait to see it at Ten of the best..
  15. Look in the sales section there is a carbon spoiler thats like the s202 type that would look perfect on your silver car I ahve some pics of a silver bugeye with one fitted, see if i can find them.
  16. thought i would let you know when de catting the up pipe the wrx oem up pipe has a sensor for egt or something when fitting your new upipe, you can take it out or fit it but as the gas will be hotter or because the is no cat there the ecu will put on a cell there is an quick and very easy fix for it or it could poss be taken off via ecutek,
  17. Thats a local car, the lad did not drive it a lot, if i was to get a bug eye that would have been on top of the list, very well looked after... and some good mods on it too..
  18. thought this vid was good.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeGPakSDtQU...feature=related
  19. Looks good should be up to the likes of the RCM car , will it be ready for SSO or TOTB?
  20. nice sounds good, does it shoot flames like anti lag or is it just pops and bangs?
  21. The engine light normally comes on the newage cars due to the decat pipe, being fitted the cars ecu this there is a problem with the cat, but there is none there this should not happen if the car has been mapped, get the car plugged into a computer the cat effiency low code is p3040 or something like that, this code only comes on at cruising at a steady speed where the ecu takes a reading from the rear 02 sensor not the maf,
  22. KTC is not far from where i live, It has some good cars some bad some very bad, alot of people stay away from there just to be safe, however is you know your cars and what can be damaged or looks like it has been repaired then you may find a bargin, but be very careful before you make the trip over, Also try pcm ...performance center manchester he has some good cars in and is well known on scoobynet
