johnnyr6 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Does knockhill know your using this? i thought you were'nt allowed to time yourself. Admiral..nice drifting around the hairpin m8.
The Admiral Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 No, they don't know... You're right - no timing or racing on a track day, due to insurance regulations - otherwise it's technically a "race" meeting with all that involves... Although, I don't have access to the data at the time... And I can't really stop my video camera recording time and "accidently" noticing it when I get home... Cheers Rog
johnnyr6 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 NUFF SAID and if anyone from knockhill is on here..he was the guy in the black corsa!!
sheep Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Rog it looked like you were having fun at the hair pin drifting nicely
The Admiral Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I got it right about 2 times out of 5 LOL I was practising brake drifting all day - more tricky than e-brake (hand-brake) drifts... Here's how I learned - you may have seen our dark S13 drift car there on Saturday too? Project S13 e-brake drifting at Crail (requires DivX ) If anyone has any pics or vids of me going sideways, they would be most appreciated too!! Although great fun in the wet, you don't get the smokeyness you do in the dry EVO Drift gif Cheers Rog
dougster Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 With regards to KH rules I hope to get back to you all soon. We are told no t-shirts, no hand-held cameras, no timing etc..... Hot Hatch in a £50 bucket..........................aye batter on..........................!!! Scoobs are better at driftin'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Admiral Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Nice clip - reminded me of my Classic wagon - Loved that car - only motor I've never fitted a stereo to - thanks to Scooby Sport full exhaust & decat I personally think it's White Cars that are the best - what do you think? LOL Rog

I saw me letting someone past from in car But that could have been anyone during the day, lol the hairpin was superb fun, sideways action galore. cheers Phil Saffron Yellow Elise 111R SN** AZR
duke Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 << Dorikin, get those wheels painted WHITE!!!! >> you mean like this?
duke Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 aye, 18" - the new style compomotive pro - my "sunday" wheels had them on track for the sidc day back in sept but found they were a bit too cumbersome, so use the 17" team dynamics pro race1 (very light) for track stuff.
st3ph3n Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I'm a big fan of both sets you have then mate. Loved the dark team dynamics ones. Didn't realise that's what brand they were though. They'd look good on mine
