Iaing Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I'm a waver!! Althought its kind of a running joke me and my girlfriend have as I always wave and very rarerly get one back. Just blank expressions, you can almost see them thinking I dont know him, why is he waving! Actually a week or so ago a guy in WR blue Blobeye wagon with blue mudflaps gave me a wave near Garthdee. Anyone from here? Iain
dan_jess Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I always wave 2, feel a bit silly when u dont get 1 back, shame! Ther was a silver classic just outside of E.kilbride on sunday that i had no chance of waving at, the bugger took me by surprise, was like in Topgun when he 'buzzes the tower', new pants city! W.I.Y?
TheGza Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I do tend to wave, even passed a blue STI 7/8 on the M9 last week and stuck the hazards on and got a flash in return
BriWRX Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 i wave at all scoobies, but i have noticed that new age owners dont wave back.

Spotted a bugeye with light blue or light grey decals last night going north on the A80 before Auchenkillins. I was going southbound and trying to dive off and go the backroads so didn't get a wave in.
craig mac Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 BOOOOOOOO WRBlue Wagon Bug Eye Riverside Drive 1315 NO REPLY Craig
D4WGY Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I was so confused when I got my Scooby, I put it down to the guy I bought the car from knew loads of Scooby drivers until he told me it was a custom I get quite a few waves around Dundee now and I'm always keen to wave at other drivers. It's still a novelty for me Shep
dipsy Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I have never put my hand up to a sport driver.I must be a snob who drives a turbo
JamesF Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I wave all the time but have been getting fewer and fewer responses recently. Dont wave to sport owners either but mainly because I've never seen many that have been modified so don't think they are that "into" cars
oobster Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I spotted 3 classics on my way home from work today: 1) A red classic on the road past Polkemmet estate between Whitburn & Harthill. 2) A white classic with dark tints in the dip between Whitburn & East Whitburn 3) A silver classic at the traffic lights between East Whitburn & Blackburn. Waved at all 3 - none bothered to wave back. And folk say us newage folks don't wave
frank c Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Waved at two classics today...just some confusing looks back i'm afraid..
wrxmania Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Waved at three classics in the Falkirk area - see them often in the morning. NONE waved back - just a stare. Shame Brian
