wilky
The 24 mile circuit of "Moi Island!!" (Its moin you know!!) More manx type tarmac than the Nureinburgring but theres many a "Fangio", Marquis, Chav, and wee inexperienced boy in a 1430 mini been pulled out of a field by a John Deere, the farmers silence being bought with the promise of paying for the fence and a bottle of Single Malt. There are 3 other circuits incorporated in this, the 11 mile south circuit, The 8 mile north circuit ( Record 7min 4 sec held by a craggy faced middle aged fellow with a faded tan) including the infamous Balianally Straights where 145 whatever can be reached and the " Full Cresta" being the rollercoaster ride of your life round the 24 miles. Not wanting to draw attention to spirited driving, The Islands finest can be located via a Mobile call and the circuit chosen accordingly. I obviously have no experience of this, its only what Ive heard. Draw your own conclusions...... Callum, High Protector and Guardian of Bute Link to comment

MY94
A very good run is from loch tummel to /and round loch rannoch. Loch Rannoch is 24 miles around, with very little traffic as the road doesn't lead anywhere. There are a few roads round that area that are great, with terrific views(the queens view). Just don't push too hard if you go there(and u should go there)as there are several sheers drops and your car doesn't have a roll cage(or maybe it does:-) I've done this run in an Honda S2000,EVO 6 & a BMW M3,very interesting with rear wheel drive, the four wheel drive real comes into its own on these roads...........although the M3 felt like it was on rails, great chassis. Not my cars(the Classic Car Clubs). Was planning a run up later this year in the Scoob, but maybe not anymore.(re;Crashed Scooby in Edinburgh) Link to comment

~ ~ Cal ~~
Having been issued a free pass this weekend I feel the need to hit the road on a two day tour of Ecosse. Any other suggestions for this. Ideally, I wish to start and finish in Aberdeen and will camp overnight somewhere. Thanks in advance Cal Link to comment
