Nelsdir Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Hi m8 - passed your old RB on the forecourt at Morrisons (formerly Drive) in Falkirk today - sad to see a dealer making a healthy profit after all the work you put into it Hope the wee Yaris is going well!! Cheers. Neil (couldn't do a link so heres a screenie)
the squiggle Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 How much................WOW. I suppose 1 careful owner and all that but still HOW MUCH. Trousers down i think. Grant
drb5 Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Shockin behaviour! AP's weren't left on it and they have bumped the price up by £4200!!!!!!!!!! More than what i bought it for......over a year ago! LOL!
Grovit Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 I saw the car before it went to the dealer - looked gorgeous - shame to see it go from your drive David
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 What mods does this beastie have ? I'm looking to trade the CTR for an RB5 at the moment. Or sell privately (ball-ache) and chase a private sale ( Neil ) EDIT Thanks Cal
ANDYJDMSTI Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Cal, get Daves old one, far nicer and better than the Culloden one
Grovit Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Calsonic - Pm DRB5 (David) and ask him what the spec was - he'll be able to tell you what's been done to the beast....
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Cheers Grovesy - will do I presume the alloys were goosed and therefore recoated ? Cal
Grovit Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 nope not goosed - just want them stripped and powder coated for a rock hard paint finish - should have them on for Jan run
Marky-San Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 drb5 put the colour of his alloys to a Poll and this is the colour that came up trumps! Dont think they were goosed at all from recollection.
dave_morgan Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 re : RB5 wheels... Dave looks after his stuff, so more likely he just wanted a change. I've got his old 19's and they were mint. HTH
drb5 Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 thot me ears felt a tad more heat! cal if your interested in the car, get an idea of cost off the subaru scumbags and come back to me to see if it's worth it....14k is too much...even for it bein my old scoob.
the squiggle Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Dave what was on the car spec wise whenyou let it go? Grant
drb5 Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Not too many left, but those that were left are.... engine built with JE pistons and Eagle rods, with RCM shells and oil pump. Revolution 3 inch bore fully decatted zorst. H&R lowering springs. Godspeed discs on the rear with DS2500 pads all round and dot 5 brake fluid. MRO scoobystyling front splitter STI6 rear spoiler Subaru splash guards PIAA driving lamps Wheels refurbed in subaru black with gold speckle as seen on the bugeyes.
IanJ Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 A bit off topic but relevant.... I wouldn't go posting Autotrader links with my postcode on it!!!
