just have to be careful around their wording surrounding the"300bhp"..... Nice car though, and once set up right I bet it will fly!!

I was chuffed - 211bhp which is 2 up on standard, and with me only having a JR panel filter I'd say that was pretty much spot on.... Car needs serviced next month (£230), and now Gav has got me thinking about a unichip (£430), cat back exhaust (£??).... and I need 2 new tyres (£200)..... Expensive hobby this face-icon-small-happy.gif Good fun though!!

Nice to meet more folk off here! Had a great day, and look forward to the next event.

well I was well chuffed, elise has 156 standard, equating to 197 per tonne - it came out at 169.5 (just a filter, albeit a very expensive carbon jobbie & a Lotus race exhaust) which means I'm at 211 bhp per tonne face-icon-small-smile.gif

Nice work Carl and thanks, how you got all that info on that bit of paper is beyond me face-icon-small-shocked.gif

Just glad mine didn't blow up in the end. That octane booster stuff sounds like a waste of money to me, no det and same power as standard with just Optimax face-icon-small-wink.gif

Least ground clearance of the day award goes to young Grumbler!

The fridge! 256bhp on the second run, 259bhp on the first. More than happy with that, all set to topple the 300 barrier now...!

I'd just like to say a big thanks to Gavin, Russ, Neil and Jools for making the day such a success. I was very impressed with Gavins setup and the rollers seem to be calibrated spot-on, something proved by the likes of Mikes near standard ATR and Catherines standard Celica knocking out factory figures. face-icon-small-cool.gif I couldn't believe how smoothly the day went also, bar Jools wee problem it was almost regimental the way the cars were wheeled on, run up and then wheeled off without a hiccup. Well done to all.

If all goes to plan my car should have all the treats fitted and be mapped by the end of October - so naturally i'll be looking for a re-run come the beginning of November, as i'm sure Davie will too. face-icon-small-wink.gif

Well done all involved, particularly Gavin, Russ, Neil and Jools, and of course Carl for compiling and posting the results

Great set up and all in all a very interesting day.

At least when I sell the wee car I can say with some confidence just what the car produces - other than big smiles ! face-icon-small-happy.gif

Cheers Guys

Yes, and I think I saw every one of those bhp round bends on a wee scoot to Potterton and back. Much enjoyment/excitement/brown troosers!

Cheers though, really enjoyed it!

Hey Mark, sorry i missed your car. I did want to try and get all the Scoobys on the rollers but i missed Shauns because i was nattering and then after i missed John Stewarts later on i kinda gave up. face-icon-small-sad.gif Don't think i got any of Keiths or Erics either. I'm sure the picture of all your cars together in the P&J will make up for it though. face-icon-small-wink.gif

What kind of cooling fans are used?

From the pictures I don't see any. The fan at Dastek In Dalgety Bay was big and very powerful and using the same roller set up.

there was a big two stage fan infront on the car with a second one on top blowing air down onto the engine. what is the p&j?

yeah there wasn't much clearance on my car. i kept scraping the ground as i was leaving wallace performance. i took my car back to the shop today and they confirmed that it was loosing a lot of boost then jumping up again. would this explain the lower than expected performance or not?

<< what happened to Jules car then? Wooosh >>

Clutch was smoked face-icon-small-sad.gif , too many mental launches at Alford I think face-icon-small-wink.gif

It's a shame as I was really hoping to see if the TSL 333 would make the figures. There is a lot of guys who have had this done and say they are getting about 330bhp and about 310 ftlf Torque but there has been a fair bit of sceptisism around the numbers and the rollers that they have come from.

Jools hope you get this sorted soon m8, AP on the way? How about a lighter flywheel while you're at it. would make a big difference in acceleration face-icon-small-happy.gif

I think Gavin, Russell and Neil did a great job on Sunday, after having all the teething problems with the rollers it all came good.

Yeah, I reckon the 7000rpm and a quick sidestep has taken it's toll on Jools clutch!

(ps - I found an exhaust face-icon-small-happy.gif waiting to hear about a house 1st though face-icon-small-blush.gif )

Good to see you all had a good time!

Kev - we need to discuss you situation ASAP........... Mail me!

Marc - you as well

Enjoy the cars guys, R/R figures are only approximations. If the car feels quick, be happy (for a little while at least)
