  1. I'm doing it Its a good club - yeah some of the cars aren't worth £15/20k+ but that doesn't matter, not everyone's got or is prepared to spend that much on a car. One thing they are all passionate about there cars and the driving is spot on, I've never seen any stupid or irresponsible driving from any of them. See Here for club details Cheers Tim
  2. << I am mate. I also was shown a video of it flaming going down duffus as well. Kinda explains how I went through £95 of Optimax in 5 hours, as I was chucking it all out the bloody exhaust >> Aye - and straight into the interior of my elise when I came up behind u (my fault for running with the roof off!!)!!! should have got my pax rigged up with some device to catch it all, would have saved me a fortune........ Tim

  5. Mike You can't go wrong with checkpoint, excellent service and very high fitting and balancing standards (to balance them right isn't as straight forward as many people think and is easy to get wrong) I paid £85 fully fitted and balanced (per tyre) for 225/45x17 T1s for the rear of the elise Tim
  6. << << Tim "Car will have Nitron suspension fitted by then and have been set up properly, should be a fair bit quicker hopefully" >> Wot! Like it doesnt go fast enough as it is?!! >>

  10. well I was well chuffed, elise has 156 standard, equating to 197 per tonne - it came out at 169.5 (just a filter, albeit a very expensive carbon jobbie & a Lotus race exhaust) which means I'm at 211 bhp per tonne Tim

  18. << John, Excellent news. I had hoped you would ?cross post? the plans with our friends and maybe e-mail the tour de-cosse group for me, having forgot to mention this to you yesterday. I have told Arlene you might be coming in buy for the geri-cans for KH. Do you have contact details for Tut, and if so direct him here. I tried through SN, but to no avail. With the local gang, and the above info, I would say we are at +/-12 drivers already. Will post more details with names later on. Need to get names and money moving fast, as they want several hundred quid deposit to book; right now I have a provisional booking for 48 hrs. Cheers >> Jools - I'll have a word with Tut for you, but last timeI discussed it with him he turned down any karting at all due to his back problems (couldn't get my head round that since he drives an elise, but they're u go) Either way, we'll have a few of the scottish elise boys accross Tim

  21. I'm using the event to raise a bit of cash for charity Click Here Anyone thats never been out in an Elise - nows your chance - and its all for a good cause Hope to see you there Tim
  22. I've managed to get something set up to raise some money for 'cash for kids' at Northsound Radio Basically my passenger seat will be free for anyone that wants to come round the circuit in an Elise - in return for a donation to the above charity. The company I work for (RBS) have agreed to also donate between £100 & £500 depending on how much I raise. Even tho this is not an official timed event, the driving will of course be spirited! In essence we need as many people as possible at the event - so we can raise lots of cash for a really good cause (I appreciate there is a few other events on this weekend, so not all will manage). My car will be stickered up with the cash for kids logo so it should be nice and easy to spot. There is coverage on northsound for the event (not sure when to be honest) and there's a small bit on the website Northsound Radio. Go into cash for kids then into weekly update. I'm doing Dreadnought on tue night at KH, I'll leave the stickers on for that so if anyone wants a few pax laps, same script as above, small donation for the cause - I'll add all the money up next week and let you know the total Tim
