Fitting a blow off dump valve

Im thinking of fitting an after market blow off valve to my car, is this a good idea and if so is there anything to look out for?

there are some carp ones out there and heard lots of fake copies of hks or forge ones.

leaks, sticking, or incorrect spring can case performance and general running issues.

The compressor inducer is approx the inlet internal diameter  of the housing.

If you are replacing it because it's smoking, why not get it rebuilt?? (even possible  with MHI turbos to do it yourself if so inclined).
