P500RTY
Hi Folks Is anyone running BC BR Coilovers just looking for some feedback? Are they good road & fast road coilovers or should i keep saving for Tein or KW's Thanks Graham Link to comment
scouk
Quite a few folk on here run BC's myself included. Had them 3 years or so now and think their great! No clunking or anything. Still nice and firm dampers Yuu can get a choice of spring rating when purchasing and the dampers are adjustable individually to you can get the style that suits you. I've heard teins are quite harsh on the roads and if they do ever fail they need to be sent off to japan. whereas parts for the BC's are easily available in the uk from apex performance. badbaz
Teins can be repaired here in the UK at Chevron Motorsport for example. Link to comment
little vodka goblin
I've had the BC coilovers on my scoob for 3 months now and can't fault them so far. I ran my classic on Teins and Al is correct in saying they are harsh on the roads, don't think my bones have ever recovered lol Link to comment

CooL! that's handy to know! last i heard people were forced to package up all four of their struts and ship them off to japan.. Did think it was a bit much.. Maybe that was just for warranties sake or something... Link to comment

Ovv
I bought a set for my old Hawkeye and they were a vast improvement over the standard clunky Subaru ones, worth the money but I didnt keep the Hawk long so cant say what they are like over a longer period of time, had them on the car for about 3 months before I went old skool again. scooby222
i like my bc's but quality can be hit and miss from set to set - teins are great quality but too harsh for our roads, reckon il be putting a set of kw's on my car at some point in the next year so if you can save enough id go with that Link to comment

Vimmy
I have a set on my car for the last 2 years now, with adjustable bound/rebound, and never had any problems with them. I do quite a few miles per year an they seem to cope with all road types without fault. Cheers, Col Link to comment
arch
There is no comparison between say a set of KW Var 3 and the BC's. Def not knocking the BC's, for the coat they are good value for money but the KW var 3's are far superior but then they are twice the price. What did you go for Barry VAR 3 or clubsport Link to comment
