Ok, been looking at ways of improving the stand for this years shows and been looking at display stand for the car details, prices seem to start at £45 so if we had 20 cars thats £900.

Had a go at making one.

Bit rough around the edges and could do with being 800mm high instead of a metre but total cost around £17.

Looks good, but I would suggest a lower height, maybe so the stem is flush with the bonnet height so the display part is half above the bonnet height and half below!

Looking good Robert, you could possibly add a little dispenser tray for holding SIDC flyers so those who are interested may just make the effort and pick one up! Well done.

Yes, it's just and A4 plastic holder and you can get the same on for leaflets.

We need something a more robust as the car sits on these to stop them blowing over and getting knocked over, would hate to see someone's pride and joy scratched a stand fell, also the holder provides protection for the car sheet.

Going to have look at that see what suits best.

Looks really good. Well done ;) Personally, I think taking the height down to no higher than the wing mirror would give you something spot on.

Looks good Robert, you did mention at the last Central meet that you'd have a go at making something.

It's only taken you a month then :whistle:;);)

Kidding mate, like it, great first effort.
